How To Fix The Sims 4: Add all the stuff from The Sims 3

This is how much The Sims 3 Late Night would cost in The Sims 4: 1) The Sims 4 Vintage Glamour (To get butlers): $10.00 2) The Sims 4 Get Famous (To get the "famous" careers/lifestyle): $40 3) The Sims 4 Vampires (To get vampires): $20 4) The Sims 4 City Living (To get apartments): $40 5) The Sims 4 Get Together (To form bands/groups/bars/dancing): $40 TOTAL: $150 In conclusion, you need 5 packs for a total of $150.00 U.S. dollars to have basically The Sims 3 Late Night in The Sims 4. But funny how with The Sims 3 Late Night, the pack is worth $40.00, but in The Sims 4 in order to get ALL that content, it'd cost more than triple the amount of a Sims 3 Expansion Pack. EA and The Sims 4 is a rip-off. 6 years of Sims 4 and all it is is pretty graphics and that's it because it still lacks A LOT! No wonder why so many players, including myself, are still currently playing Sims 3 since Sims 4 gets boring after a few minutes of playing. In Sims 4, Create-A-Sim and Buil Mode is literally the only improved components of the game, other than that, the gameplay is horrible and lacks so much. They better not mess up Sims 5.

In sims 4 all of this features are divided -City Living -Vampires -Get Famous (it's better in sims 4 but LN added it) -Get together -Perfect Patio Stuff (the hot tub) All of the features of these packs was in only one of TS3. *The sims 4 is a joke*

Late Night is probably the only expansion I couldn't do without. There's so many features here that are essential, or at least have become essential to me. My only complaint is the vampires. Annoying, cliche, and added purely for the trendiness factor (much like the zombies in Supernatural). But they now have an option to shut those off, thank God. So it's all good.

Ah yes. I remember this quite fondly. This was my first introduction to the Sims 3. In fact, you started in the same building I did too! I had this fantasy where my celebrity sim was a famous writer who also had a famous band (called Autonomous Wizard Machine because that's what 15 year old me conjured) that never played live or released their music anywhere, you could only listen to them live, and every member of the band could play any instrument so they never had just one genre. Eventually he became rich enough and bought every property in town, then presumably he would demolish it all to build a Disney World themepark.

Ayyye nice fall out boy reference. I used to watch these videos all the time when I was younger and I am reaching them now and I feared out when you said that.

I've never played anything but The Sims 4 and wow. I never realized just how shallow and ridiculously priced their packs were. I've spent $120 on three expansion packs (Island Living, Cats + Dogs, City Living) and with all three, I got bored with the gameplay after a week. City Living is definitely the best pack but even so, when you look at The Sims 3, Late Night, it's disgusting how little they've given us for our dollar. Sure, it's a very beautiful game. I enjoy creating sims and building them homes but the gameplay is nonexistent. The base game is so vanilla and unplayable, I don't know how I spent a whole year without any packs or mods (you know your game is lacking when mods are essential to gameplay). All this to say, I'll be downloading The Sims 3 (with Late Night included) on origin for $20.

Oh my god, i just realised that Late Night added so many basic things to the game and i forgot about it. Like the choice of your aspiration or zodiac sign or the muscle. Amazing. I love this pack even more

I kind of miss the Sims 2 vampires. I loved how the went around saying "bleh" "bleh" all the time.

These were new additions to the game when this video was produced. As with all my Sims reviews, this also covers the updates for the main game that release on or near the initial launch date of the expansion (in the case of LN, they are things such as half-walls, grouping, body sliders, zodiac signs, wall object adjustment, etc). This video covers the LN expansion and patch (Patch 17) released with the expansion on 10/26/2010.

@TheMusicInOurLives Actually, all you should need to do that is Showtime. The celebrity status thing that was added with Late Night was also patched into the regular game for free. The main game will update with those features if you let it patch online. The LN expansion mainly added new careers, a town, new objects, lot types, new interactions, vampires, etc. So if you want celebrity singers, just grab Showtime.

I do play TS3 even now, but I still don‘t have all the packs and expansions, but after watching your reviews, oh boi, I need them all.

@tommy25185 That's because you don't need Late Night to have platforms. Platforms (and lots more content) launched with Late Night and that's why it's covered here, but it also became available to everyone as a free update. Read the video description for more info.

Yeah, the game isn't out yet so prices tend to be higher for pre-orders on there for some reason. It's set to go down in price shortly after release (so I'm told by those that run it).

I created the Jackson 5 and this definitely helped in making that idea work... kinda. The fact that there isn't a microphone so your band will never have a singer, and the fact that teenagers, nor kids, cannot form a band without 3rd party mods really sucked. I ended having to wait till they were all young adults which completely missed the point. Not to mention that you can only have 4 people in a band, and from my research, there doesn't seem to be a mod to increase it. I was at least able to have Joe Jackson slap the shit out of his kids randomly, which was amusing to me.

best expansion pack PERIOD! The ungodly amount of hours i spent on this pack ALONE is insane, this pack was all i needed to waste away months of my life. I look back on this pack with more fondness than most of my old friends and lovers

@MegaLegodude5 Not before Late Night came out you didn't. Half-walls were added as part of the Late Night patch (Patch 17) on 10/26/10, along with curved pools, platforms, fountains, etc, which released on the LN disc as well as via a free base game update.

I’m glad you love late night because I am adding other EP features like the weather and water from Island Paradise, uncharted islands, a nectary, the Binder Clips Event Center, equestrian centers, ports+houseboats, extending that beach into the water, a resort, the light colored terrain from Island Paradise, a salon in a skyscraper, a fire station, a karaoke place, etc.

I loved the bands but not the music they played. Needed some variety and it would have been nice if they could work along with singers from showtime.

Recently i got back into the sims by buying a Sims 3 pack in walmart for 20 bucks that had both Late Night and High Life along with the base game. Got a shit tons of hours into the base game before realising I hadn't even touch the expansions yet. Late Night has alot!

This was my fav pack of all the sims games ever! Loved the bar and lounge builds they looked legit unlike in ts4 dancing on bars, bouncers just fun shit, along with the amazing apartments and lots. An awesome pack
