Sorry to hear about your army chum, may he rest in peace. I enjoyed the tootle along the A1, you have to admire Roman engineering. My weekend was fairly quiet, I visited my mom on Friday and she sent me home with some plants for the tub outside my front door. The rest of the time was spent on a DWP Health Assessment form which was in small print and they know I need large print grr. I havent bothered with Glastonbury at all, not even on TV. I should start watching the Tour d'France as there will be some lovely scenery (and not just the legs lol). Safe travels Barry.

That's my neck of the woods lol (I live up in Northumberland and work in Gateshead mostly but actually a Yorkie). Yeah Washington services northbound isn't the best design for the HGV pumps and it can be dodgy pulling off the pumps if you get someone impatient come flying past towards the exit. I'm on nights out of Team Valley at the moment and A1 northbound is usually shut every night from Washington services to Team Valley. If it is closed you'll see the cones lit up at Chester Le Street (J63), come off there, follow A693 (left) and A167 Birtley, and stay on the A167 til you pass the Red Lion pub after Birtley High St then look for a yellow diversion sign sayin "K'Worth" pointing left, just before a line of bungalows on the right, follow Lamesly Rd for a couple of miles, satnav will pick up the route through Team Valley once on Lamesly Rd (make sure you don't miss Lamesly Rd or you'll have hell on) and then you're back on A1 at J68. Easy once you've done it. We do it with double decks so you can get anything down there. I might do a vid of it on my channel at some point.

6:30 That mini took a phone call or made one, you can see the time it started when they slowed right down, that is lack of concentration and if you continue watching they begin to sway left and right and sometimes well into the other lane. It isn´t funny, but it is interesting how you can see exactly when the call started and the effects of it. 7:02 is a prime example of the effects. I mean I might be wrong but if I could put money on it being for that reason, I would, either that or they are having a barny with someone in the car lol Anyway love the video and all the chat, I remember when the channel first started, may it continue to grow as the videos are all great!
