Hi. We will transfer from Terminal 3 to T5 with 2 hours 5mins. layover. You took the other direction. Maybe the same Coming back from Prague to the US we will land in T3 and will just stay in the same terminal to the US. You walked past a very long line just by changing gates. We will have a 4 hour layover so I think it will be fine.A very nice and clear video.

Great post.....We have been in Heathrow many times and know how confusing it can be. We are flying into Heathrow on BA arriving in Terminal 3 at 6:40AM in October. After booking this flight we decided to go to Berlin for a few days. Since I can not add to this locator number without paying excessive fees we are now booking a separate flight to Berlin on BA out of Terminal 3 (at 10:50 AM or 12:30PM.) We have been told to ask the agent if they would book our luggage all the way to Berlin when leaving Miami but there is no guarantee that they will do that. If they do I assume we can use the "airport" side transport to Terminal 3 like the transfer passengers do. At least I hope we can. If they will not book our luggage all the way through we will have to go through immigration after we land...collect our luggage...and then get to Terminal 5 for the next flight. Is that correct? Is there an easy way to do this? Will a taxi take us if we wanted (I know many are looking for longer distance trips.) I have 2 hip replacements and I know the walking in Heathrow is extensive. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Quick question, when you eventually went through security, was it the same security everyone else uses or a specific one for connections? My point being a much faster queue or could you easily get stuck there and miss the connection? I've got 90 mins to make the transfer but it's less really as gates close 20 mins early.

This video is an airside connection. You don't go through security until you reach your final destination.

Hello, I have a quick question. I am arriving from ZRH to LHR BA 717 at T5 and Leaving on the same day via UL504 from T3. Do I need a visa or clear the border control on this purpose? Or it's just passing the Transfer Desk Only?

I have a BA incoming flight in two weeks and connect to an outgoing AA flight. Is there no way to transfer between 5 and 3 without having to go through security again?

Hello sir, I hope I can ask you a few questions as I am traveling from Amsterdam Schiphol(Finnair) to Heathrow to Charlotte, NC(American Airlines) in the US. I have no ticket or anything yet saying what terminal I have to be on and such. But my question is; does my luggage automatically go to the next plane after getting off. Or do I have to pick it up and drag it and check in again? How exactly does that work. And how do I know if I even have to go to another Terminal? Hi. Thanks for the video. I’m travelling very soon and I arrive at T5 at 12:20 from Leeds Bradford and my flight to USA leaves at 14:10. Thats 110minutes. Assuming there’s no delays, is this enough time to make the flight? Important information, I have hand luggage only and my ticket was booked through an online seller and LBA to LHR is British Airways and LHR to DFW is American Airways. Do I just follow purple signs? How long do you think it will take to get off the flight and to the gate? I considered driving to LHR night before and staying in a hotel but I was told if I miss the Leeds flight, the airline will cancel all my flights. Please help. Thank you very much.

Does this work with checked luggage too? I had a friend tell me that if I have checked luggage I will need to pass through immigration, collect my luggage, go through customs, and then re-check my luggage. I am connecting from T5 (BA) to T2 (BA operated by Aer Lingus).
