agree that the learning curve for this racket is steep. took about 3 months before enjoying using it. its not really head heavy at 295 balance. also the shaft is shorter. thus a faster swing at the wrist is needed to generate the power i think. have since bought another and love this racket. tried the 9000i too. surprisingly good feel and hits hard, dont feel like a 79g racket at all, the 9000i. that said, have 2 badminton pals who bought and sold them as they felt that its too heavy and dont like the feel of the 9000c

It's very interesting to hear your opinion. I find the racket to be quite flexible, and i find it very very fast. It's in my top 3 of rackets, with turbocharging 75 boost, and n7 Btw, watanabe still use the racket when playing mixed

Yes. 9000c is not recommended for those beginner or those who weaker in strength. Similar to astrox 99, both are recommended for advance players.
@Volantbadminton

Interesting perspective, we wouldn't recommend the 9000C to a beginner. We think there are other user-friendly rackets out there to consider but appreciate the feedback.

Recently came across this channel and watched a good few review. Just bought the tectonic 9 after seeing the review here. Great stuff guys keep it up and channel will gro. That being said my opinion on this racket is really opposite. Been using this racket since last year as my main go to racket. I find it very powerful and easy to hit and fairly forgiving. The racket is also pretty fast given it's the C version. Overall for me it's the second best Li Ning racket I've ever used. My favourite and best racket is Li Ning N90 III which sadly can't find anywhere now.

to be honest i was also quite disappointed when i bought this 9000c. It didn't feel head heavy and felt more even balanced. I do agree with the control aspect and how difficult it is to find the sweetspot. Speed is good though, but the air slits make no difference. It is impressive to see how fast this racket moves, especially since it is 3u. Beware of the stiffness. This racket is a weird one with stiffness. The raw swing feel seems stiff but nowhere near 100zz stiffness. However, when playing, the flexibility kicks in like the Tectonic 9. Power is the worst thing about this racket. For the premium price, this thing produces mediocre power at best. Raw power is severely lacking. Along with the tricky sweetspot, smashes go everywhere. Numbers don't lie for balance point. I f i had to choose a substitute for this racket, I'd go for the Axforce 90 Dragon or the 88d pro since they are basically what the 9000c was advertised to do.

Hmm, we think the power isn't as good as the 88d pro! Not too sure about the Zforce2 to be honest... but don't think that the 100zz is very similar to the 9000c. Try it if you want something a bit different but if you want something more similar, probably try the 88d pro!
