i love this series so muchhh, Si and Shancai i miss you so so so much!!

It's my first chinese drama and it's always different for me no one can replace these and them I never ever forget these drama

It was more like a movie than a drama. The efforts the actors put is tremendous. The first few episodes of Daoming Si being rude and aggressive were so subtly changed into comforting and loving.. Amazing acting,

I'm 30 yo and have seen every MG out there, but was never a fan until this one. To be honest this version of MG is the best so far. The Korean version is a bit too typical of Korean lead male (cool, rich, arrogant) somewhat one dimensional, the Japanese one is a bit too rough and comical. The MG 2001 is classic but it's too daring and rough, Jerry Yan's dao ming si was rude and brash although he changed towards the end of the movie, but his portrayal was overshadowed by Vic Chou 's Hua Ze Lei. You could ask all those MG 2001 fan and most would probably pick Hua Ze Lei as their fav over DMS. This one MG 2018 though, is very different. The DMS character is so shining that the rest of F3 are overshadowed. I don't know if that's just the script or WangHeDi's portrayal/x factor, or his amazing chemistry with Shen Yue, or probably a bit of everything. But I do think this DMS is pretty charming because he's colorful : arrogant, egoistic, childish, vain yet caring, smart, determined, somewhat innocent, and lonely at heart. He's fierce yet vulnerable. This kind of portrayal make us want to sympathize with him and see him through San Chai's eyes. And seeing that WHD's personality in real life is quite similar to DMS makes his chemistry with SY's San Chai even more alive. Kudos to MG 2018

Hands down, my favourite adaptation! Meteor Garden 2018 has far surpassed any expectations I've had. The story line and plot progression has been fantastic and it just keeps getting better with every new episode. The cast did a great job, particularly Dylan Wang who has really blown me away. And the chemistry between Dylan and Shen Yue is so natural and incredible. I'm obsessed with these two. I literally cannot stop thinking about them. I love with this version we really get to see Daoming Si and Shan Cai as a couple. They are literally the sweetest and cutest couple. My heart melts with them

For me tbh this version was best ! I don't know how I'll get over the 😭 Everything was just perfect in this ! Even the actors 😭💓 I'll miss this so bad 😭 Now this is my favourite drama 💓💓💓😭😭😭 this version has the best scenes between dao Ming si and Shan cai ! I just love it so much ! And I liked how the 'bullying' part was minimised a bit which for me looked more realistic ! Hands down, the team of meteor garden 2018 rocked it 💓🔥

I still love this series so much. It has affected me in many amazing ways, starting with this adaptation. I love their songs, they bring so much comfort to me, so much hope and love. It's so hard for me to watch this every year and see the day it was published grow, it makes me so sad and nostalgic but it also makes me happy to know that I can't let go of it because it is such a beautiful story that I can never regret loving it and getting comfort from it! It hurts that there will never be a second season, but I know that the story is complete, giving me peace. I've been keeping up with Didi's projects over the years and after watching Only for Love last year I felt so nostalgic and happy! Can't believe it's been 5 years, I hope this will never be forgotten!!
