I guess as a kid I rlly liked this movie for all the action but see how it’s kind of cringe and ridiculous. However, kudos for telling the story of windtalkers. Also had no idea ruffalo was in this movie. Would be great to see another movie on Saipan

You can say whatever you want about this movie , but it's still one of a first and the best war movie i've watch when I was 10 and still didn't even know what is world war 2 . Damn I didn't even realise that Mark Ruffalo is in it

They shouldn't have done this artillery scene. The Battle of Saipan was known for having the largest banzai charge of the Pacific Theatre on the night of 6-7 July 1944 where 4,000 Japanese troops slammed down on the US lines. Could have made use of real history.
