I am a Singaporean and I thank you for coming to Singapore and work and contribute to our growth. Especially those Malaysian that work in our medical sector. Thank you. 😊

I respect ur perspective. It's all about one's needs and expectations.
Yes, I fully agreed that the cost of 3/4-room HDB flat can buy a landed property in JB, the cost of COE (just a piece of paper) can buy a car in JB and the cost of living in JB is very much cheaper than Singapore. But my most worry is the safety when living in JB.

U need a car to travel in Msia or Johore or JB due to the distance between towns & places and also the inefficient public transport system to buy things. HDB flats are primarily meant for Sg citizens. PRs can only purchase HDB from open market. Many Malaysians working in Sg find that they can save up after deducting expenses like rental, meals, transports costs.
Absolutely agreed. Johor State is much difference from other states in Malaysia, whereby it is located near Singapore, a developed country and ranks the world , one of the richest and with full contacts with the world around.
Does everyone know that non-bumi is so difficult to enter local uni in the 70s, 80s? Many of my classmates and schoolmates went to Singapore too. I am the only one who went to KL for my tertiary education and left Malaysia later.

The standard of public universities have deteoriarated after years of racial quota policy and political interventions so it is a blessing in disguise for non-bumi but I feel for the the non-bumi students who are from poor B40 families like I was in the past.

Well say.... the standard of education is very important thus determine where you are heading when looking for a job or start your career. Sadly to say Malaysia standard is no where near Singapore. There again... blame it on your government.
