I agree , but I also heard someone suggest that if a trans person wants to be called by a specific name we should just consider it a nickname. For example, if a person has the nickname “Bulldog”, we don’t refuse to call him that because he’s not a dog. So we could just look at Leah as his nickname.

All women's teams need to flat-out refuse to compete until this is addressed. Even to the point of the school replacing them. It's far better than risking life-altering injuries from a 6'4" 240 lb. I was injured by a male teammate while playing volleyball on a co-ed team. In my case, I took the risk voluntarily, unlike the girls who want to compete on all-girl teams. They should have that option, rather than be forced into a “co-ed type” situation to progress in their chosen sport.

A lot of college students are indoctrinated. I'm a woman, and another young woman on campus wanted to fight me for saying "trans women." She wanted me to say "women." I'd just finished expressing my concerns about them in women's sports, so she knew I wasn't an "ally."

Completely agree. Trans need their own sports competition. Lia couldn't win against the men's team so switched to the women's after he transitioned. It's not a fair competition. How can he have any pride that he won against women who are not as physically strong? He should be embarrassed. And certainly people need write to their Congressmen that this must change and do whatever else we can to support these young women. Thank you for truly being brave and standing for what's right.
