The child clicker was an actual child contortionist that they held auditions for, the attention to detail by the show runners for everything in the show is absolutely incredible. Also that street with the sniper/horde was a set that was entirely built from scratch by the crew, completely insane. Great reaction and can't wait for the next episode!

Just like with Bill and Frank, Sam was Henry's purpose...and when Sam couldn't survive, Henry couldn't endure. Their deaths on the show hit even harder for me than the game... it's probably because they made Sam a little more younger than Ellie and deaf (he wasn't deaf in the game). Made Sam come off more vulnerable and even though I knew how it was going to end, a part of me was hoping he and Henry could actually survive...

Courtney asked the question about cutting off a limb, it's an item that isn't explicitly stated but seems hinted at in episode 1. Several amputees in the QZ, shoelaces sold individually, the sign when they brought the kid in the wheelchair in. behind the "nice lady who offers food, clothes and toys" behind her is a sign of symptoms, and also a sign of how long full infection takes based on where you're bitten, a foot or ankle bite says 12-24 hours a neck bite I think was 5-10 minutes. So it's implied that if you chopped Sam's leg off at the knee a few minutes after he was bitten it might work. Honestly think how dangerous it would be for Ellie if putting her blood on a fresh bite could stop the fungus. Every time she saves someone, that person and anyone who witnessed it would know. Sooner or later, someone would say something to the wrong person, and she becomes a high price bounty for someone who wants to use her blood to their advantage, but using the promise of the cure for a price, and she likely would end up in someone's cage.

It must be pure horror to realize what you just did. The "I'm sorry" at the end got me so hard. I cried 4 of 5 episodes and I love this show
