John Squire doesn’t know how to solo any more. His guitar playing is basic.

He's definitely more restrained. Needs some solos like the outro of One Love or Breaking into Heaven.

Nonsense. When he was soloing, some people said he was exaggerating, now that he is more restrained for the purpose of songs, people are saying how they would like to hear him doing more solo.You can't please people.I remember that one journalist wrote how he soloed so much in second comming tour that he could use it and go to the toilet?!

Listen to the end of this song, the band of playing amazingly. he can’t solo, he doesn’t know what to do. It’s obvious. They give him space to do that and he froze. That’s okay he’ll probably get better with time in the more he does live gigs. Just chill out brother
