Oasis, an English rock band formed in 1991 in Manchester, was initially called the Rain and included members Liam Gallagher, Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan, and Tony McCarroll. Noel Gallagher later joined as the lead guitarist, completing the core lineup. Despite various lineup changes, the Gallagher brothers remained constant.
Signing with Creation Records in 1993, Oasis released their debut album, "Definitely Maybe" (1994), breaking records as the fastest-selling British debut album. They followed with the iconic "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?" (1995), which topped charts for ten weeks and became one of the best-selling albums ever. Oasis' fame was intertwined with the Gallagher brothers' media-covered disputes and extravagant lifestyles. Notably, they performed to record audiences at Knebworth in 1996.
In 1997, Oasis released "Be Here Now," another record-breaking album. Subsequent years saw lineup changes, a decline in popularity, and the departure of Noel Gallagher in 2009. Oasis' total record sales surpassed 70 million by 2022, with numerous UK chart-toppers and international recognition, including awards from NME, Q, MTV, and Brit Awards.

probably not the best way to start and interview, clearly had a massive bump and the camera started right as he finished, watch him and listen up until 40secs in, he eventually wipes and sniffs as a final check

There's something quite sad about him here, he looks and sounds like someone who lost somebody. Him playing with his nose in an interview most likely done in the NL cannot be a great sign either. These were dark years for him, I think.

His last cool years and think he was struggling with how famous they became and the all of a sudden not liked by most people. People forget how young and how famous he became second only to Diana in terms of press pictures. Heathen chemistry had good songs but just didn't seem right and I hated DBTH and most of DOYS as I can't understand why Noel let Liam, Gem and Andy wrote so many songs as they were crap , anyone trying to write like someone else is never going to work like gem and Andy trying to write like Noel.

I don’t understand why he stopped singing the way he did on married with children and underneath the sky. The earliest albums had a nice of mix of vocal styles but it quickly degenerated into one style derived from one specific John Lennon song.

He’s so the opposite of Noel in interviews. Always awkward, short answers, he can’t wait to get it over. Never really tells a story and it’s all so painful to watch. Whereas Noel just can deliver a great thoughtful answer but Liam just so hard to watch.

U should watch his recent interviews in UK TV and radio shows where he's much more relaxed and even tells a story once in a while. Obviously it's nothing compared to Noel's but he's become calmer nowadays. They're both improved as an interviewee since 90's and early 00's.

Not always. Depends who's interviewing him a lot of the time I think. Some interviewers know how to get him to relax and open up
