Honestly this song is my #1 comfort song. When I lost one of my cats, I felt sad yet empty, but when I listened to this I actually felt allowed to cry, which definitely helped. Now my other cat it showing signs of getting older, too. She's 20, and has started walking in circles and meowing constantly. We don't have any vets to take her to, so I've just been led to believe she might not make it. Again though, this song is helping me so much. Seriously, thank you so so much, Liana. I can't really listen to this song anymore without crying I used to sing this to two of my bunnies yesterday one of them passed away Had a seizure- He was sick for a while and vets weren't accepting him, or they didn't have any specialists- Held his body in my arms for a while he was buried in my garden not long after with some nice flowers I still have one left and she's a sweetheart she was looking for him when he suddenly disappeared He was young too A year and a half He was sick Never knew how he got sick he just suddenly did He was doing so well on the day before and then that morning he passed he was paralyzed from the waist down I love him so much my little baby boy he's not around anymore but at least he's not in pain anymore The moon rose without him there anymore that night He's in a better place now.

Writing it before the premiere, but i just wanna share how much this song means to me (ofc its up to u only to read it or not) I found this song when big changes happened in my life, mostly good, but not without bad stuff. I finally realised im a lesbian, and not bi. But i made a mistake by confessing feelings to a girl i knew she would never feel the same (i cant say now that i hardly regret it, i just dealt with it) , which made me go through an embarrassment (my own, no one bullied me), and letting my feelings go. And for that, in spring, i moved to other city, and at that time I found Liana Flores and also Cavetown posted "Fell in Love With a Girl", and i was listening to the songs for hours and for days, mostly just walking around city and thinking about the time im going thru. Self reflecting and coping with such calming songs helped me a lot. Ofc im not saying that i would do any self-harm, but i wouldn't be able to enjoy beautiful environment that city has and from time to time not thinking about thoughts, just sit near the beach.. And now looking back, being a happy lesbian, when i hear "Rises The Moon", i start to remember those trees with pink petals, the sea breeze, the family of black street cats (and also many other cats but i dont remember them well) i was feeding.
