As a person who has been bigger for her age, I was mistaken for being years older than I was. And my brother is in the same boat; there's a big gap between us. Best to politely say "Oh, sorry he's only x years old" etc if there's a situation where they talk to him and assume he'll talk back (not all kids feel comfortable doing it). He looks so happy and that's what is important.

My 19 month old son sits on the floor too when he eats. im glad im not the only one, i know the experts say its best that theyre seated but over time i just gave into it because its where he likes to eat and i sit with him and feed him the "messier" meals like oatmeal. by the way your son has got to be one of the cutest babies ive ever laid eyes on. i always have to stop when i see his cute face come across the screen. you have a beautiful family.
