She's just lovely. There has been a cast change announcement in the Royal Opera Houses's performances of Verdi's "Vepres Siciliennes" this October and Poplavskaya, who's suddenly been taken ill, will be replaced by Haroutounian. As it happens, I can't wait to hear her live!!!!

Hooray Lianna! So happy to have you around and singing this rep. so incredibly well! The opera world is in desperate need of you.

Wow, I liked her voice tremendously. If she always sings with such a steady, strong but lyrical tone, and with such a good and nuanced phrasing, I'm "afraid" we have a new great Verdi singer in the making. Excellent voice and, what is more important, a great use of her vocal resources.
