Hello, those are 25 liter containers. The smaller ones are 20 liter.

Hello. Yes, I kept pinching of side shoots to keep plants tidy, allow more air circulation and mainly to make the plants focus their energy on fruits and not more branches. Thank You very very much! ☺🍀

Doesn’t the rain bother the plants or mess up the soil since they’re in pots?

Not at all. If it rains too much and saucers are filled with water, just pour them out.

Good job, thanks for sharing! How many hours of sunlight did the tomatoes get per day on average? They seem a bit in shade.

Hello. Roughly from 1p.m. till sunset, the roof is over them, so they were getting the sunlight from side. Still they managed to grow very decent amount of tomatoes. Thank You very much! ☺🍀

Regular pruning can make the difference. But we have it once the autumn arrives 🙂 most of the time.

Hello. Yes they are much better to be harvested regulary, but I wanted to show the amount of tomatoes that can be grown on balcony. And when they are already ripe, they are just one solid rain from cracking.
