Amber is a sociopathic narcissist. She kept staring at Johnny and he was ignoring her. She played her acting "terribly" acting to the jury as she's reading their faces. The hair down in her face was too look upset and disheveled. She's watching him constantly. She's the stalker type. I can't wait until Johnny's lawyers get to cross- examine her. I think the anger definitely WILL come out. If you back a narcissist into a corner and call them out. They WILL strike out. Grab the popcorn 🍿 the show is coming . Go Johnny!!👍👍

I'm so pissed off about her, as an actual abuse survivor, I find her testimony completely false! None of it tracks! None of it! When someone is physically hurting you or violating you, all you're thinking about is "how am I going to get away from this with my life? Fight back, don't let this person snuff you out!" The fear and physical pain takes over your brain, and your fight or flight instincts instantly take over!! She is so unbelievable! I'm so hurt and angry, she's making a mockery of actual victims! Probably not on the spot. She had made "scenes" and monologues in her head and maybe to text. Then probably rehearsed it in front of mirror or camera. She then had a series of "scenes" with their imagined details and key word usage on the shelf of her mind to pick and "improvise" using them. Actors do long monologues too, as do comedians. And they train to memorize their act. The delivery can be semi improvised using the planned pieces.

We already have laws for dealing with someone who lies about abuse. We are watching a trial for one of them right now. The problem is that it's very difficult to prove that something didn't happen. That's why we have a burden of proof for what did happen, not a burden of innocence. I think the primary thing that needs to change is that when someone is convicted of lying about a crime (like Jussie Smollett, for example), they should suffer the same consequences of the crime they accused someone falsely of. So if the perpetrator of Smollett's lies would have gotten 20 years, then Smollett gets 20 years. I think people would be a bit less likely to lie if they know they will suffer real consequences for doing so.

Memories are stored in a different part of the brain than lies are created so people often use different verbs. Note how Amber says things such as, "Johnny whacks me across the face." If that was a memory she would have said, "Johnny whacked me across the face." or "Then he pushes me to the ground" instead of "Then he pushed me to the ground." This is because she is imagining it and sees it in her imagination and not in her past. There are numerous instances of this in her testimony. I started noticing this while listening to Casey Anthony's interrogations years ago and now pay close attention when watching true crime videos. I am not claiming it's a fool proof way of verifying someone is lying and they may switch back and forth with their wordage but it is certainly a huge red flag for story telling.

There's one MAJOR FLAW in her story. The first thing abusers do is going after the victims support system, isolating her from friends and family. You can ask any survivor out there, we all share similar stories and this is true for all of us. The abuser makes it so that you can only rely on him/her and become dependent, while destroying your self esteem. In this case, Johnny Depp actually got closer to her family and try to include them in their lives as much as possible...which is EXTREMELY WEIRD BEHAVIOR for an alleged abuser. Lots of things don't add up. Being a survivor myself, and having heard other survivor stories in the past...her story feels like a script....like how she was looking at the dirty carpet or her breath on the car window. When you are in the middle of an extreme situation like that, your brain doesn't focus on such details...you're in survival mode, like a soldier in battle. I struggle even today to recall the details of those particular situations, because your brain shuts down...but weirdly, she remembers EVERY SINGLE DETAIL!

Not only that she is now claiming PTSD, yet she could stare at Depp the whole trial, and now the acting job narrating this story. The two don’t go hand in hand, she’s going for shock value, that people will see it so bad that they will think who makes up,stuff like this, then emphasise. The gaslighting in her testimony, the things she describes she would have been in hospital. And that Hughes being allowed to read from papers, then instead of passing notes to JDs team at end as requested, she took notes from a different folder, (she had green folder she put in her bag, then at end took out navy folder for JDs team.. all the interaction her lawyers are doing with the PR guy behind too, note passing. A H testimony with all the dramatics, is nothing like the testimony in U.K., the way she acts. All these stories were not there, and most importantly she is presenting a totally different character than she has done since the get-go. No consistency going from statements of how strong she is and she is not a victim, to now declaring absolutely no blame, an utter angel of a victim, that is devastated, all the time on the stand looking to everyone to push in her narrative.

As a victim of domestic violence myself, I can tell you straight without a shred of a doubt that that woman is NOT a victim of DV. The fear you live through does not leave room for "embarrassment" or "hurt feelings". You don't even THINK of such stupid things. You only think FEAR! It's a vague emotion that takes hold and your mind goes blank. What a liar she is! I'm a "true victim" and what I find insulting is actually comments like yours, which are all over the internet now. I am not going to critisice every legal case of domestic violence and judge myself who is telling the truth. It is very disturbing though to read comments like "a victim wouldn't go to sleep in the same bed as the abuser". Because yes, that happens all of the time. Victims also may retaliate the violence, they can also be addicts, and shouldn't be asked to be saints in trials like this. I don't know what the truth here really is, I kind of believe her and then when I see him, he is kind of believable too. At least that they believe themselves. Who knows what actually happened, what I do know is that it is insulting to victims of domestic violence to see a world jury of non-lawyers, non-psychologists, non-doctors, non-behavioural experts and so on writing millions of comments on how a victim that tells the truth behaves, according to their own imaginery lists.

I'm a survivor of parental abuse from childhood and was physically attacked with knives on several occasions, I am able to make light of it as a coping mechanism when friends ask about my childhood but when I spoke to a therapist about it when I started having PTSD issues 5 years ago I wasn't even able to look them in the eye while remember and telling them the details nevermind a jury... I don't believe for a second she had her life endangered to the degree she's claiming.

As a multiple survivor of DV, when I testified against one, there was fear, shame, and embarrassment (that I allowed this to happen, according to him). First, and foremost, I did not look at a jury as I was telling the most intimate details of my failed relationship. I looked down, I looked at a space on the floor in front of me. My father (sitting in the courtroom) said he could see the fear in my face and could hear the terror in my voice. This woman displays NONE of that. She talks to the jury like they are an audience that's there for her performance. She's playing to this audience.

I’m a DV survivor and if I had to take the stand and tell my story I would feel so uncomfortable I’d be anxious and afraid like I was back in that place, but I had to tell a huge room of strangers, which would make me feel afraid because when you go through DV you learn, it is threatened into you not to tell anyone. Amber DID NOT appear to feel or look like this.

The thing about being a victim of DV, as I was. It usually starts as controlling behavior. The abuser tries to isolate you, not wanting to let you see family or close friends. To cut you off from everyone that loves you so that they have full control over their victim. That never happened with AH. In fact, JD let all of her friends move in to penthouses that he owned and let them live rent free so that they could be a support system for Amber. Another thing, is there are big blow ups and threatening words and behavior most of the time before the abuser hits their victim. Not always, sometimes they beat them up badly the first time they lay a had on them and usually when they know that their victim is the most vulnerable. Example, has no money to go anywhere, has no car or has had something happen health wise so they won't be able to get away or fight back. Because then the abuser knows that they 'can' abuse them just like they want to and has probably been thinking about doing for sometime. When abusers have been asked why did they beat their significant other, the #1 answer is "Because I can." For women, or men, who decide that the one slap or punch wasn't that bad, because their partner has apologized and promised never to do it again. The victim thinks maybe if they stay to try and work things out, often times because they have kids together with their abuser, they are always walking on egg shells from that time on since the first physical DV happened. The victim is always quiet and withdrawn around their abuser because they're afraid the abuser will get mad and blow up and hit them again. They're afraid that the abuser will be worse the next time, to hit them longer and harder the next time and do more damage to them than they did the last time. Victims are never like AH. Real victims of abuse would never hit their abuser, spit in the abusers face, throw things at them, shout at them all of the time, order them around and berate their abuser because they're afraid to do that. No one who is a victim of DV is going to poke the bear so to speak. They would never do what AH did repeatedly to JD throughout the course of their relationship. By AH's antagonizing behavior alone, it's very clear that she was not a victim of DV. And that JD was the only victim of it in their relationship. If you are in a relationship with someone who is abusive, you might as well cut your ties to them fast and move on. Because there has been data kept for decades on these type of abusive personalities that shows that they never change. Most of them get a kick out of it in some sick way. Like how AH smiles often times when it comes up how she has abused someone in her life.

As a person who has survived all forms of abuse that you could find in the book from my ex-partner of 15 years, hearing AH testimony was a surreal, confusing and extremely triggering experience. I must admit, hearing her testimony in its explicit details has left me vacillating the entire day because trust me, a lot of the things she said really brought back memories of what I experienced when I was in my past relationship. However, when I imagined if I were in her position on that stand telling my story of these bittersweet memories of the man I loved and then the horrific abusive things he did to me, I would be an epic crying mess. I would shake and cry so uncontrollably that I might have to excuse myself from the stand. I would cry so hard that I would start heaving for air and I'll be tears and snot filled. And then, I looked at AH's eyes and face. DRY.

I cannot watch a victim of domestic violence tell their story without tearing up and taking breaks because it takes me back to mine. During Amber's testimony all I could do was roll my eyes or get mad. She's trying to lie her way into being a victim even though she's a perpetrator. I believe domestic violence victims are the best people to be able to see those lies. I never once focused on anything other than the moment and defending myself. I never inspected a carpet or thought about how mean the insult was while being attacked. She doesn't understand what it actually feels like in the moment. I don't doubt he participated in reactive abuse, as I did as well. When you are placed in that environment you will react sometimes.
