I always loved Jason and Emily brother/sister relationship they told each other the truth and more.like Jason loved liz and wanted to be with her and thier son and cam it was sad,wrong that jason could not have the life he wanted to have with liz and the boys.Sonny is in the same business and he had is married with 3 kids then and kept them safe till 2009 with Michael shooting. and everything changed for everyone liz,Jason to it was sad that happend to them because they had so much chemistry between them and more like love because they did love each other a lot i saw it in thier eyes and body language and the way they talked to one other i miss that now that Steve is back on gh i want to see liz and him as friends and parents to jake

Lucky was the one who introduced Liz to Jason back in 1998 and now he's the one who has the problem with them being friends it's ridiculous and pathetic just like lucky like he expects her to except the fact that he cheats on her all the time pops pills and she's just supposed to sit there and take it like a good little girl what a looser

The difference between Jason and Liz's relationship and lucky and Sam's is Jason and Liz have years of friendship and lucky was with Sam to get back at Liz for sleeping with Jason and making a baby and let's not forget lucky was the one who introduced Liz back in 1996after he became Jason morgan

What Jason is telling Spinelli to do- be there for Lulu, let her be with Logan and wait for him to screw up and then step up. Allow her to make mistakes and then help her even though she may never see him as more than a friend. I feel like Jason is describing what he has done all these years for Elizabeth. He was worried that when Lucky was brainwashed that he would hurt her, but accepted that she wanted to be with him, he told her to be careful and then helped her when Lucky tried to control her. He accepted Zander because he thought he was what Elizabeth wanted, he tried to warn her that he would get himself in trouble. He tried to warn her about Ric and was around to listen in the end when everything had settled after Emily's illness. Even when he was with other people and was not romantically interested in her like in the beginning, he still cared enough to lend an ear and be available. Stand up guy.

Lucky cheated on Liz 3 times once with Sam once with her own sister Sarah and once with maxie and she was the one who got him hooked on pills to keep him close to her

"I want something I can't have...." Aaahhh if that doesn't sum up Liason in a nut shell. And it's good to know that Lucky is not as stupid as he seems. He was able to realize that Liz was just with him cause it's the safer choice not because she loved him more. That was true then and it was in the past as well. Fear has always been the driving force behind Liz ' s hesitation to chose Jason. The main reason she maintains this "friendship," with Jason is so she can still have him in someway even if it can't ever be in the way she truly wants. I honestly love Spinelli, all that heart and none of the strength to actually back it up. Though I must say that punch was pretty impressive considering it came from Spinelli. I wonder if Liz had ever asked Jason to give up the business in the early part of Liason, had said it was the only way they could be together, would he have done it? I wonder y the writers didn't ever explore that avenue. Was it even possible to do that and what would their lives have been like if they had tried. Would it have been love or resentment?

I've always wondered about this too. What if the writers had explored a different path? Neither was fully able to express their feelings for each other, so there never was put forth suggestion of Jason offering to leave "the business" or Elizabeth asking him. And even the times we got missed opportunities for Liason to be together, leaving the "business" or what the (future) consequences could be, were never considered. The writers have been so tunnel-visioned -- it's truly sad the TPTB couldn't allow themselves to be innovative/exploratory with Liason stories. Truly a wasted potential.

Wasted potential indeed. Just alot of repetitious nonsense, and stops and starts that led nowhere. I think Liason may have truly been one of GH's most frustrating storylines.

I just hope they don't pick it up again. Don't think i have the strength to go through another Liason heartbreak. Re-watching these clips is enough emotional torture and just too emotionally draining, though I'm glad they're available!!

I loved what jason said to Emily about wanted to be with liz,jake,cam but can't be with them because of his dangerous life and the things that happens when people he loves,cared about get close to him that was the sad part because Sonny is in the same business and he has his kids and the love of Carly.so why couldn't jason have that same thing with liz,jake,cam like he wanted,needed to be together with them and said so many times to her and to people like spin the most

The date on this video is wrong. Emily was already dead in 2010 and Jason and Liz were broken up. Emily died during the Black & White Ball in 2007.

Watching these clips now it’s very interesting compared to what’s going on now. Elizabeth was telling lucky that even if she wanted to be with Jason, she wouldn’t put her kids at risk just to be with Jason because they wouldn’t be safe because of what happened with the text message killer, yet Sam is willing to put her life at risk going to jail for violating her parole also that she can be with Jason without a single thought about how going to jail for violating her parole would affect her kids. This is another reason why I can’t stand Sam with Jason because of how selfish she really is. I love Emily; asking Jason to tell her what he really wanted, and when he said: “I want what I can’t have, “we knew his choice was to be with Elizabeth. These two really need to get revisited and be together and have a real chance at love. I hated how lucky was constantly interrogating Elizabeth about being with Jason while at the same time, Elizabeth was the one who didn’t care where he was yet he constantly had to throw it in her face that he was with Sam when her first thought was asking if he could share some responsibility with taking Cam to Audreys while she took Jake to a check up. Lucky made Liason Way more routable than trying to reconcile Liz and lucky. I was glad that a month later, they finally decided to divorce. I love how protective Spinelli was of Lulu. I miss Spinelli like this. It’s too bad that now his main purpose is to get Sam out of the latest crisis she willingly puts her self in.

Exactly, however everyone plays her as a freakin victim and not the lying dog that she truly is. They are always talking so bad about Sam and every single thing that she had done wrong, but yet they are constantly defending Liz because they are Liz & Jason shippers. Sam has done so much more for Jason than Liz ever will, Sam has risked her own life and her unborn daughters life to always protect and love Jason, again so much more than Liz. Unfortunately Liz trapped Jason because she knew that she could never ever fully have his heart, his true love, not anything compared to Sam. It’s pretty obvious that Liz has been infatuated with Jason for ever, and as soon as she found out that Jason left Sam and broke her heart, she literally projected herself right into Sam’s place, literally right on the damn couch and right inside of Jason’s bed. Jason only slept with Liz, because he was hurting and in so much pain right after Sam told him that she slept with Ric. It wasn’t until after Jason found out that Liz had his child that he then started to push Sam away and take care of his responsibility. Although everyone is giving him so much credit for lying to Sam about everything, because it’s obviously okay for him to do anything wrong and then lie about it, but Sam is the absolute worst person in the world for doing the same exact thing, however Sam didn’t lie about it, she felt guilty even though they weren’t together and told him, she was in fact honesty about what she did. I understand and totally agree that Jason did indeed care about liz from the beginning, however I truly believe that if she didn’t get pregnant during that (ONS) and give birth to his child that he obviously wouldn’t have had any reason to be with her, other than that one time because he was indeed hurting and wanted to lash out and to try and forget about what Sam had done. Jason wouldn’t have had the burden of trying to do the right thing, “hence his morals on bringing a child into the world”, just like he did with Carly, and was going to do with Sam when she was pregnant with his best friends daughter, unfortunately the daughter that didn’t make it. 😢 So in reality there’s really no damn difference, the only thing is, “liz’s son is Jason’s biological child, but other than that he was just trying to do the right thing like he obviously was raised to, take the responsibility for his actions, and that was in fact Jason’s number #1 thing that he truly believes in. Jason will always choose his child/children over anyone and anything, although it just didn’t seem work out for “little miss drama lying immature Liz”. Heck even knowing what Sam did to Liz and his son, he still forgave her and wound up choosing her in the end, Jason chose being with Sam, spending his future and building a family with Sam, especially considering her son wasn’t biologically his, that is over his own flesh and blood and Liz of course that everyone so called swears that he’s so in love with, his soulmate, lmao 😂 I’m sorry but the facts are literally to be seen, and actions speaks much louder than any words, it’s really easy to tell someone that you love them, however it’s only true when they technically act on it!! 😊

Elizabeth was willing to work things out with Lucky while she continues to lie to face about Jake. She used the word “TRUST” but it wasn’t mutual. Emily was once a favorite of mine until the Liason fiasco began. For three years, she was friends with Sam, she trusted her to the point that she wanted Emily (and Monica) inside of her delivery room. Emily saw the strength of the love between Jason and Sam, she supported them as a couple because she could see Jason finally found a woman that loved him unconditionally and wasn't afraid of him. Then he screwed Elizabeth once and suddenly Emily turned on Sam, saying she was nothing but a con woman who saw Jason as a score. She backed the two who'd lied to Sam for months and overall, treated her with utter disrespect. Emily, Jason, and Elizabeth were all worthless assholes at this time. I was perfectly fine when Emily was killed off.

I HATED 2007/2008 BECAUSE THEY BROKE UP LIZ AND LUCKY HE WAS THE ONLY MAN FOR LIZ HE TRULY LOVED HER THEN THE WRITING BECAME HORRIBLE. LIZ AND LUCKY WERE PERFECTION NOT LIZ AND JASON THIS ENTIRE STORYLINE WAS SOOOOO MESSED UP!!!

I love 2007/2008 because we finally got Jason and Liz to really be together instead of the nonsense with them in 1999-2002. Too bad they didn’t give them a real chance here either 😕. Steve and Becky’s chemistry is amazing and the way they look at each other is sooo endearing ❤️. Bring back Liason 2018/2019 and give them a real relationship without all these stupid BS excuses of why they can’t be together!!
