Yet to hear this version of Ave Maria delivered as beautifully, and crystalline clear as this - LIVE, mind you - performance of the then 12 year old Thomas Delgado-Little. I rave about his voice at every opportunity, but I can’t help it. I don’t want Libera fans to ever forget his voice or his name. This lad was absolute PERFECTION in the higher registers of his treble vocals. Although Libera have had, have got, and will always have fantastic soloists, you’d be hard pushed to find one who could hit those highest notes with such supreme perfection, as TDL did. Such a shame he left Libera so early and that there weren’t more studio songs from him. I’m always left wishing I could’ve heard him singing so many more sweet songs with that stunning high treble voice of his.
