2:35 that left hand technique is absolutely ungodly. He doesn't even have to look at those two octave jumps at break-neck speed. And he's balancing that with a blazing fast double-third trill on the right hand. What a virtuoso.

How much fun was he having? The speed accuracy and attitude, He would have be a great person to have a chance to talk to one on one for 15 minutes....Such a loss

What we see in these videos of the old Liberace TV show is a performer at the height of his artistry and creative power. You don't get to be the highest-paid entertainer in the world by being something other than excellent. So glad we have these video performances to honor and remember Liberace.

He was a genius on the piano. I watched all his early shows when they were first shown, probably on our first black and white TV. That's how old I am. LOL

I was expecting the piano to burst into flames there near the end! My mom loved to watch his show on TV back then. I was just a little pup back then and had no interest in anyone playing piano on TV.

Who wants to have fun? OK, do this. At the bottom of the video are the settings, the play, pause, mute and to their right is a icon of a gear. Click the gear and you can change the speed from normal to 1.25 the speed.. LOL watch what he does even faster.

No, I like the traditional style better! It's like some orchestras try to play Tiger Rag at a breakneck pace when I like a nice, relaxed tempo!
