Not a fan of Murdoch but without Sky News etc, we would live in a monoculture with a single viewpoint that can't be questioned. The 6pm news on all FTA channels has turned from something informative to a group of activists all pushing the same narrative of the ruling elite.

I want to see, one, just one, liberal member actually sit down and counter the points Jordies raises in this video. It’s despicable that ‘a healthy debate’ to them isn’t focused on actually looking at the FACTS of what’s going on and instead arguing about the semantics of how things are said or how much someone ‘looks like a leader’ Liked and shared, thanks for being a national treasure Jordies

I agree. Although I've been disappointed with how Albo has been debating Morrison. Almost every point that Jordies makes in this video would have been a home run in those televised debates. Albo made some good points in the debate, but nothing as damning as what Jordies presents here. I'm sure he has his reasons, maybe that's why I'm not a politician?

My suggestion would be to find out where he gets his information from and specifically focus on debunking those sources. Then once he gets the idea that some of the people he follows are wrong that will weaken his trust in this authority and begin making him doubt them more. And that's the key, breaking his trust in the authority of his sources.

What is considered a "health emergency"? Wouldn't Climate Change fall into "health emergency"? So through our democratic process we will elect leaders who will then be legally binded to follow the higher authority of the UN/WHO? rather than listening to the voices of the people they were elected to govern? I'm old enough to have lived through the Hawke/Keating years. They fought for Australian jobs, including fighting to get my husband's job back from BHP. They reduced our national debt and made sometimes harsh decisions to get our economy back under control. It saddens me to see our country lose so much industry including the manufacturing sector to poor trade deals where us Australians have lost our jobs to overseas third countries where child labour is used. SHAME ON US FOR LETTING THIS HAPPEN! Good job on your factual reporting.

It's as if since 2013, the Australian government has been making a deliberate, concentrated effort to make Australia a worse place to live. I honestly cannot believe that this could have been the unintentional results of mere foolishness or incompetence. They wanted our lives to be terrible. They wanted Australia to look like shit on the global stage, and they wanted the poorest and most vulnerable of us to suffer. They probably knew that this stuff would harm most Australians, and they chose to do it anyway, because it would make an elite cabal of already super-rich individuals, several of whom are foreign and sometimes even hostile to Australia's interests, even more super-wealthy. And when heroes like Richard Boyle try to blow the whistle on their cruelty and corruption, they're the ones who get criminally prosecuted. It's all so bloody disgusting. This government has won three consecutive elections so far, in spite of all of the above, but I can't imagine how we could possibly elect it for a fourth term, knowing everything that we know it has done in the past nine years.

@@damienasmr922 - No, they're obviously not just as corrupt. We've never had this level of federal corruption before. Indeed the difference between the two parties can be illustrated by the two cases of branch stacking in Victoria, just weeks apart from each other. When members of Labor were caught out they were swiftly expelled and publicly condemned by the party leaders at both the state and federal level. Scott Morrison spent weeks trying to score as many political points on the matter as he could right up until the moment Liberal Party members in Victoria were similarly caught out branch stacking. At this point the Liberal Party at state and federal levels closed ranks, did not take action against the offenders and refused to answer any questions from the press about it. Vastly different approaches toward integrity and corruption. PS. We can see Friendly Jordies has a left-wing bias. I don't know why you think that's such a big reveal. It's like announcing that Labor has a connection with the union movement (it's never been a secret, unlike the Coalition's donors). Please unconvince them all. Please don't vote Labor, for your sake and for the entire nation's sake. Both Liberal and Labor parties have utterly betrayed Australia to foreign interests, to the billionaires of the World Economic Forum, to the WHO, and to China. Please don't vote Labor or Liberal, put them last and don't include them on your Senate paper. In the past few weeks they have both voted almost unanimously, along party lines, for the Digital Identity Bill, which is a huge part of controlling every single aspect of our lives a la the Chinese social credit system, and which will ultimately prevent all of us from living freely, even buying food, unless we comply with government directions. And those directions may not even come from our own government, they may come from the WHO: Labor and Liberal have unanimously agreed to sign away Australia's pandemic management control to the WHO. If the largely Bill Gates-funded WHO orders lockdowns and vaccine mandates (and Gates is the world's biggest individual investor in vaccines, so it will happen) and so on around the world, we will be obligated to follow BUT ONLY if Labor or Liberal are in power this Monday 23rd May, which is when the Australian delegate signs the agreement. Please understand there are absolutely credible alternatives to these two parties. I'm not talking the Greens here either, although Bandt was one of 5 senators who voted against the Digital Identity Bill. The other four were Rennick (Lib), Antic (Lib), Hanson (ON), and Roberts (ON). There is so much information available on these matters, please inform yourself before you vote. And lose the Ggl-search, use DuckDuckGo instead, where your searches will be unfiltered. This is the most critical election in Australia's history.

What is considered a "health emergency"? Wouldn't Climate Change fall into "health emergency"? So through our democratic process we will elect leaders who will then be legally binded to follow the higher authority of the UN/WHO, whenever there is a health emergency and guess what... By WHO standards we are in an constant state of health emergency Rather than listening to the voices of the people they were elected to govern? Rather than listening to our concerns and how we feel about certain regulations and mandates, we will listen to their concerns and told what we must do So we are voting merely for puppet 1 or puppet 2 Wow. One of the most disgusting things about the private education funding is the fact that the private sector in education is getting any funding at all. It defeats the term "private" I'm not paying taxes for anyone's kids to go to a school that isn't accessible to everyone. The point of taxing the public is funding for projects in the public interest and a private school available to a select few that can afford it is not among those things.

Given the variance in polling versus outcomes, a Labor majority is far from certain. I've done some election modelling and the lowest tpp the party can get is 52%. The most recent resolve poll puts labor at 51%, resulting in a hung parliament. - Polling aggregates are around 53-47 to the Labor party - The average is 52% between the historical data and the most recent poll. It's going to a close one. Hopefully a Labor majority. A standard distribution that has a median of 78 seats for the Labor party (based off of polling) however everything has to go correctly... if you know someone in the seats of: Bass Swan Braddon Boothby Longman Higgins Chisholm Reid Longman Brisbane Pearce Ryan Leichhardt Robertson Share this video with them, this is our chance to vote in a responsible, good government. Nice Stuff as always Jordies. Edit. (this model assumes no losses from the Labor party to the Libs) this is of course unrealistic, hence why i have included the most likely seats to flip to Labour.

@@bradleymcdonald6273 lmao you mustn’t know much about international law - which is profoundly weak and which Australian governments love to ignore. The UN can’t even control itself, let alone the world. It is a toothless tiger. Regardless, our preferential voting system means that every electorate ultimately comes down to a 2 person race. Usually it’s liberal v labor (with some notable exceptions). So there’s no such thing as voting for a minor party in 95+% of seats. Ultimately you have to preference either labor or liberal above the other. The UAP / PHON are just fronts for the liberal party. This is great, accurate and informative but I would also LOVE to see a liberal/labour comedy video from you that just very very very very basically explains the difference. As amazingly basic as you can. Stereotypical characters in wigs would be awesome. I feel that you have the magical comedic power to communicate the gist of essential information to a great many Australians who DO NOT UNDERSTAND the gist of complex politics from a list of specific examples. You of all people have the ability to communicate the gist in an entertaining way. Please do a comedic liberal/labour supporters comedy video so that Australians have a clearer idea of what these parties actually mean/stand for A lot of people will connect to the information better with the help of your characters than they will from a list of facts. Love your work, friendlyjordies. All the best, hope to keep seeing more from you

I'm not around Australian politics as much as I should be, but the poor handling of disasters and covid is enough for me to call incompetence. I'm ex military and I can assure you there are task forces prepped and ready within a few hours in case they need to go help with natural disasters, or any emergency.

Since I work in healthcare, I have noticed things were always better under Labour, only to get squished once the Liberals took over. Kudos! Thanks Jordie, keep up the good work!

Was sent here a few hours ago and have been watching your videos since (4 hours now). I didn't think anyone could make politics interesting but you have done it. Going to try and read up on further information tomorrow because most of your videos seem very one sided, but honestly that's just a precaution because it's the internet, nothing has given me a strong reason to believe you're spreading misinformation. Mainly wanted to say thank you for making me give a shit about my vote, and keep up the good work.

You're wrong about Gonski and PISA scores, the slide in performance is related to the introduction of standardised testing which was a labor policy.

Labor 1/3; liberal 1/3; others 1/3. Why do these others never get a look in? Perhaps they should form a “party” called “ others”, or abolish the labor and liberal parties!
