This is absolutely incredible. Thank God a fellow MIDI musician tackled this because it shows. I have always dreamt of using a midi controller for this exact purpose. I known ILDA control and be used in a similar way but this is groundbreakingly intuitive! Excellent work Seb. 😉

This is phenomenal. I love the filter graph approach to building scenes. It also looks shockingly polished for pre-Beta, especially compared to other commercial software that has been out for years. I can't wait!

Bloody hell. Astonishing. I wish I could afford it, but I don't have any commercial outlet for my hobby lasering so at £288 per year it's a non starter. I'm not saying it's not worthy of the price tag, I mean it's just gorgeous! But for a few small parties a year it's out of my reach. Kudos to you, Seb! It looks absolutely incredible.

Having seen the software demoed live a few weeks ago, it really is as slick and polished as this video shows. The user interface is just so much better than anything else on the market. The analogy to a modular analogue synth interface is really intuitive. This will definitely be a game changer.

Looks fantastic! I really like the design. I can tell you took a lot of inspiration from lighting controllers with stuff like the group phase delays. The main thing I'm clamouring for is a decent quality timeline editor for timecoded shows - Pangolin's frankly sucks and I would love to see you trounce them in that field too :D P.S. I spotted Rob chatting away in one of the crowd shots! ^_^

New to your channel. I love lasers and I've used them at events in the past. I've used the APC 40 MKII and even the mini version. I've only used Quickshow by Pangolin. Nice software.

2 things. Even though apc40mk2 seems a logic choice some people want to use a diffent midi controller or a combination of 2. From a commercial perspective and user it would be great if every function can be mapped to 1 or 2 midi controllers incl feedbaclk to make the leds work. For example an Akai MPD226 or 232 combined with a midifighter twister or a novation launchpad with an Akai midi mk2. Not everyone wants to drive the same car ;-) Second as a manufacturer of projectors it would be convinient that the software would have its own dedicated Dac with an FB4 size format so a customer can choose Pangolin or choose liberation and simple be able to swap the dacs. I love the simplicity and how user friendly it looks from first looks!

Given that the thing is already quite analogous to a MIDI audio synth, have you experimented with doing ADSR curves to control parameters based on how you hold the MIDI notes down on your controller? It might help go one step further toward the feeling that you're playing an instrument.

How can you connect this to your laser system is this by ILDA cable or can you do this like the old Phoenix software with a LAN cable
