8:34 i had a feeling the car would spin out like that especially at that speed. that section of road is infamous for spin outs and crashes. i used to lure people to chase me on this section, online, and most would lose control lol. trick is to just ease off the gas

it’s crazy cus i live near Nyc and in Nj, they got the plumbers/pulaski skyway right about correct, i love this game cause it’s a reference to where i live and it’s just crazy

That was a 2008 game. Now imagine how more real gta 6 would look.... (we can already see how accurate the new Matrix Awken city is to NYC, I bet gta 6 will be more realistic than that, no wonder rockstar is taking ages to make it)

10+ years later I finally can describe the feeling I first had when I passed them. Empty Highway, fog in the distance and these flaming towers. Felt like a liminal space.

yeah ikr. I'm thinking it's an attempt to make driving 'realistic' (although even my brother's real-world large SUV is more responsive than the smallest GTA IV car), or to make driving a bit of a pain so we don't realize that the roads are actually quite short, coz I did measurements and some of the longest roads in Liberty City don't even reach 3 kms or 1.9 miles. :) but the camera taking so long to shift forward again when we make tight left or right turns is super annoying too. so we sometimes end up rear-ending a cop car and we're in trouble lol.
