At the beginning of the week, I had no idea what I was building, but found a T-Rex that looked like it had potential. I also grabbed a model of the Statue of Liberty that’s been sitting on my shelf for a few months. What started as a random combination of models from my collection, became an artistic portrayal of the conflict of Tyranny and Liberty.

One of the earliest dreams I can remember was an island filled with different living statues of Liberty, all armed with different attributes and weapons. This video made me remember that again :)

@@SupChad735 I think I've mostly just heard him refer to them as flexible LED filaments, and if I'm not mistaken, he's referred to them as "noodle" filaments as well

I’m strongly reminded of the Monument Mythos series here on KZfaq, seems like this scene would fit pretty well into that world. That said, the liberty v tyranny happy accident is even more perfect. Love your work!

Fucking epic. History note: the frame of Lady Liberty was partially designed by Gustave Eiffel. Yes, that guy who built that tower in Paris for the 1889 World's Fair that is on all those postcards. The plaque at the base says: The New Colossus Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, With conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. I look forward to your next stroke of creative genius regarding another Wild West Town building. I have to look at those of the past - I'm sure I've missed a few, but do you have a water tower or a barber shop or a blacksmith or a petting zoo or a fountain with a statue of the town founder in the middle? Very cool! I think every town needs an armed statue to fight off those pesky marauding dinosaurs! Excellent model for displaying the concept to various municipalities!
