Some are hundreds of years old in the mountainous city of Gharyan.
The northern city once had 3,000 cave homes; now, only a few survive to provide modern-day living.

It looks a really tranquil place to live. People need to make more of an effort to preserve their heritage and culture. Still, I wouldn't want to be walking home at night when I was drunk, that could be a nasty fall.
