LIDIA'S TRAILER REACTION! (Tekken 8)

2 ай бұрынAs everyone was hoping and Anticipating that Lidia's Tekken 8 trailer was going to be shown at Combo Breaker 2024 and Bandai Namco has released the official trailer of Lidia. I was very interested in seeing how they would have Lidia in Tekken 8 mainly due to what's going on with Reina and I have to say that I was very impressed with Lidia's trailer overall. I've never had no gripe against Lidia I always believed she was a good character and should've been in the base roster of Tekken 8, but she is on her way back and the trailer is very impressive and her moves such as her parries, combos and Rage Art are definitely awesome!

We got Eddy's domain expansion of "Ancestors of Capoeira." Now we got Lidia's domain expansion of "The spirit of Karate." I don't know about you, but I was popping off when I saw Lidia rivaling Reina, because she's some of the characters that I thought was just beta characters for Tekken 8 like Master Raven. Imagine Ogre's domain expansion being "World dominance." Where he summons his army of clones and beats up the opponent like they are doing the fight back thing and then he becomes a giant and curve stump the opponent.

Man Dee she looks amazing! I cannot wait to play as her whenever she comes out. She might be my new main but I have to wait and see. I am still a Kazuya main and I feel he is one of the more balanced characters in Tekken 8 right now.

I'm so glad she's back. I mained her as soon as she was released in T7 because it's the first time in FG history that we have a pure Shotokan Karateka with so accurate technics. The people who were so sure that Reina was a "replacement" for Lidia clearly don't know anything about Karetedo and martial arts. Reina (Taido + Mishima Karate) and Lidia (Shotokan Karate) have a very different moveset and stances as well. 😉 I like the way they are presented as rivals with different nature as well. Reina is pure evil with the legacy of her father and Lidia is the total opposite by fighting for her people with honnor and honnesty ! 👍 A new Tekken rivalry is born ! 😉

Yoo she can parry high kicks now, i didn't see the double hoppkick which i was waiting for. She has what it seems new stance and she can mix to go from that to regular stance's. The words behind her in rage art are in polish with translate ludzie - People, pokój - peace , uczciwość - honesty. The red eagle is omage to symbol of Poland. This is fire 🔥.

I like the trailer but wish they had the beach stage like in Tekken 4 so you could fight on the waterfront or you could break the barrier and end up on the waterfront; it would have been cool to be able to fight in the water and see the sand and water splash and water wave physics with unreal engine 5. The stage reminds me of the DOA beach stages.

Her interaction with Jin has one connection, They both do karate fighting style.. she's traditional, and Jin is Mishima's karate.. but i don't understand her interaction with Reina.

Lidia's trailer here is too similar to her 🌋TEKKEN 7 trailer. I'm going to be honest, this is like a 🌋TEKKEN 7 rehash which doesn't scream,"Get ⛈️TEKKEN 8!!" No, I'll pass. If I want to use 🕶🐶Leroy and fight against Lidia, I'll just re-install 🌋TEKKEN 7 on my 2014 PS4 slim 1TB.
