A little late to the party, but figured I'd still let y'all see/hear me talk about the Lidia trailer. She looks dope! I can't wait to try her out. Slightly disappointed by no release date, but hopefully she releases within the next couple of months. Maybe even next month? That would be nice.

I actually love her rage art, matches Poland’s colors the eagle being the polish flag and the clean rage art matches her fighting style so much and the last hit has such a epic sound effect

it's also match with Japan flag color, where red and white only, it's fully mean she's Polish and her martial art is Japan martial art

The thing is Lidia was a pseudo Tekken 8 character put in T7. Her and Fahkuram were meant to be in T8 since the story was about fighters fighting for their countries. And Lidias background story for that was actually during T7 storyline not after.

played lidia in 7 excited she is back, playing reina cause people said it was like lidia and was confused after playing her for a while and she wasnt like her at all so i dont really understand the comparison but reina was still fun to play

100% agree with you. 👍 By essence these 2 characters are different. Lidia has a pure Shotokan Karatedo style and Reina is a mix of Taido and Mishima Karate... It's people that don't really know karate and martial arts that are jumping to conclusion very fast without the proper knowledge. 🙄 As a 2nd dan Shotokan Karateka myself I immediately recognized our style at T7 Lidia's reveal. 😊 It's not because they have some karate tsuki in common that they are the same... Their gameplay is also different and her stances are not working in the same way at all ! 😉

Gamplay-wise, they are a little similar due to their stance transitions between strings. They are also both Karate practitioners (yes, I know Reina does Taido, but it's an off shoot of Shotokan) so they have a few strikes and kicks that are similar. Hence why people made the comparison. That said, they are essentially different enough. (Like King and A.King) I too picked up Reina after having played Lidia in Tekken 7. So I'm looking to Lidia coming back.

Lidia looks sick. I see people say that she just looks like Nina with a scar, but i’ll take a scarred Nina with a fighting style that doesn’t require you to play like you have parkinsons any day of the week.

As a Reina main, who's been looking for a secondary that is kinda simmilar but different to Reina, Lidia looks like a gift from heaven! Can't wait to try her out!

Lotus At 3:24 I’m pretty sure in heat her ff2 is a mid that breaks power crush!! That’s right her mid litteraly has that red crackle effect and she essentially breaks the armour on your power crush

I am not looking forward to this character at all. Constant armor between stances is going to be hell to fight against, she also can armor break first character to do that which what she does to reina. She also seems to have a armor launcher which is broken op and few other armor attacks. Plus she can low mix up it seems to. This character looks like a nightmare to face and possibly the most broken heat mode we seen yet. When she goes into heat mode your either gonna have to rely on grabs or just afk.
