Home gamer on a budget tear down. £30 in a grinder, 20% is tax a couple of % profit to lidl, a few % to cover the warranty, shipped from china, probably only a tenner to make, I fear how bad the electronicals would be in that.

To be fair, aside from the motor, it isn't normally the electronics that are the problem. It's normally the construction that suffers. The electronics in even the best power tools today (including Dewalt and Malwaukee's bluetooth system and apps) is old and cheap technology.

Yeah here too great for paint spraying but at 50ltr tank its too weak for any air tools would need at least a 100ltr tank and as of yet there is not one

I am addicted to Lidl stuff. Every week they come with fantastic new and inovative and especially cheap products to my hometown. Its crazy, there's no better value, not even chinese websites. And i only have good things to say about their stuff.

I have the Lidl’s 20v multitool and this could just be mine but the battery charger outputs 23v and the battery puts out 20v

Dewalt do the same for the US market. All 18v stuff is labelled 20v Max with an extra "Made in USA" sticker to massage their ego. My dealt drill and impact driver had no made in USA sticker.

@@renspeene5326 it depends which machine you have. I have also Makita tools, the smaller impact drivers with 1/4 inch hex are designed for small screws, while the bigger ones for 1/2 inch sockets have no problem with wheel nuts.

I agree IV the impact use the half inch Milwaukee adaptor and it eat lug nuts off

And since is so thin you can crush it and at 11k rpms not fun to pull out of your body lol

Yes that's very true i was scared of angle grinder so much after i saw my uncles hand hanging by the tread, i just recently started using one because you cant beat its cutting power, but i do take all safety procuration, only tool that scares me.

Ivan124 aslong as you have the guard on the grinder and keep you limbs and face out of the way of the disc if it breaks all its going to do is scare you its safe aslong as its used properly but they are very scary the only tool i use and am wary about using it properly

you will find the 400nm 20v impact wrench is over here in the UK too and is so fairly often - dont look for it in the DIY events though, its mostly seen in the car care events :) - good tool when they do it & dispenses with wheennuts without a problem ( on rather tight nuts though you do have to be careful to use suitable sockets though as the prolongued impacting can really heat up the socket. but you are indeed correct, the europeans do get the better gear in the Professional range of LIDL powertools ( in the uk to my knowledge so far we have only had the Hammer Drill & SDS Drill from this range & both are great bits of kit ) but i look forward to the day when we get the Impact Driver ( as in this vid from the standard range but with a brushless motor & an extra 40nm of grunt ( upto 220nm ) & the impact Wrench with brushless motor as that thing is a beast with over 1300nm of grunt if memory serves

@@martinmorton6276 Having posted this 3 years ago I do now have the standard impact wrench since they started selling it and it's indeed very handy. It does look like they have expanded the range quite a bit although the mainland Europeans still seem to get everything first and often on permanent sale via the Lidl websites that they seem to have no intention of bringing over here 🙁 .. the website that is.

martyfriedman666 this one is naked for £30, the einhell one (which is £85 now) came with everything in the box with a bigger battery, it was also the closest thing and cheapest when I needed it there and then. The plan was buy it, use it, take it back but when I got it out I thought it feels pretty good, if it's good I'll keep it but then I used it and it was deffo going back after the performance. Which is when I got my brushless makita which was not even 6 month old and makita drill together for £90. Only cut out once with a full charge 'cause the ape using it just abuses tools and cuts out when it's really low and not got enough power.

vintage tools are the best brand doesnt matter if they are from the forties ;)

circ saws need high capacity batteries, tools stall when they over work the battery, I only use low cap batteries for easy impact work, for grinding I use my 9Ah

LIDL recently did a 20V cordless orbital sander, ( same batteries etc ) put the supplied sanding pads well out of the way in a safe place & replace with some same sized velcro backed foam pads & it works a treat as car polisher ( its a dual action ortbital polisher, not just a rotary - worked so well infact it now lives with the rest of my car cleaning stuff & i bought a second one to use for sanding stuff )

Also the belt clip is on the wrong side.
