Liebherr I asked you this because I have a mechanical company RMT TOOLS where we make heavy duty gear box used in steel industry. We have tos gear cutting machine. We first cut the gear the we send it for Hardning if gears then for gear grinding. We don’t have gear grinding machine. We get it done from other company they have hoffler 1250 xl gear grinder. Is there any machine which do cutting and grinding together.

@@LiebherrGroup One thing is tool insert life, but you putting extra heat in the work piece. Which expands due to heat. So I'm guessing, this process compensates for this inaccuracy, since having a gear profile at an elevated temperature is actually a smaller profile at heated lubricated temperature. What difference does an elevated (ground) accuracy have compared to this dry hobbing? Reduced NVH, longer gear life?
