sterni70 , nothing to worry about, once the bridge is done that ferry is history

Ferry driver must be quite depressed knowing the bridge will soon replace him. Curse you, crane!
@marksapollo5 жыл бұрын
Awesome. Meanwhile that other crane driver on the opposite side is either helpers set up the 1750, or had a nice long kip! Great video :)

Really want to see this LTM 1750 awesome Rig doing a lift that it is intended for. Want to see it in action.

Loved the setup, but... i was also watching the ferry going back and forward all the time. Must be kinda boring that type of work :-D

That rear right outrigger is making me uncomfortable...
@nostopalveluj.helaakoskioy54815 жыл бұрын
It´s like Iceman said, "don´t worry, i know what im doing".. This crane has Liebherr VarioBase system, so we could leave outrigger at any position wanted. Crane computer will calculate correct liftchart for all support area.

@@nostopalveluj.helaakoskioy5481 Oh, I trust you know what you're doing; you're the operator, I'm just an outsider :P But it's the first time I see a crane set up like that (apart from during [self]erecting).
@Hutcho725 жыл бұрын
@@nostopalveluj.helaakoskioy5481 Yes our National safety manager at work had to do a course on cranes. He mentioned that the modern computer systems in cranes are fantastic in relation to lift rates, slew rates and also stability, and even other variables that are measured such as wind speed. Great set up, do you have a video for the lift of the Bridge section.
@nostopalveluj.helaakoskioy54815 жыл бұрын
Thank´s Paul. HSE-Q manager has drive cranes before. It´s very important to know industry, if you are responsible of safety factures and quality overall. Our yoytube channel consists couple of lifts also and more to come, when the projects continue.

@@nostopalveluj.helaakoskioy5481 Thanks I shall have to add your channel to my favourites list, so I can check out more videos. I also agree that it is important for those that help make Policies regarding Safety spend a day in the operators shoes so that they can have an understanding of what it is like to work on the front line with the equipment.
