Kasbacta, $200,000 wouldn't be a downpayment for one of these machines. We've got several Turbomills where I work and I believe they are over $1,000,000. We've got about $70,000,000 worth of 5 axis milling centers and ancilliary equipment such as CMMs (co-ordinate measuring machines). These things can pretty much hold their tolerances to a few 10,000ths blade after blade.

When was this made 1970 the cutting strategy is well out dated no body makes blisks like that now not from inconel any way and the blade cutting is no better
