He is here to show the difference in translations between the Hebrew gospels and the Greek translated gospels. This is a point of difference you are hearing, where the Greek translators misunderstood the Hebrew they were translating from because they didn't know Hebrew. Nehemiah is the one to have found Hebrew transcripts of the gospels in the Vatican library that predate the Greek manuscripts. So being a scholar in Hebrew, he is giving his knowledge of one of the differences in meaning between the 2 texts that they translated incorrectly with the Greek. So he is teaching on one of the corrections that should be made to the gospels that they got wrong with the Greek and then English translations.

Well you much more elegantly stated what I was trying to say. It's predicated on "because of Yeshua" those things are done TO US which is a blessing. We are insulted, persecuted and lied to/about. But if we're going to have to define what we are lied to about in the last part of the sentence , then it's no longer "because of Yeshua." it's lied to "about Yeshua" and the "because of" disappears as the reason for insults and persecutions. IOW, It changes the recipient of the action for all three. I guess, while I like another confirmation that people are preaching a false Messiah than the One actually in the NT, I'm just not sure of this one example. Need 2 or 3 more. In fact, being insulted and persecuted are sort of different than being lied to. Being lied to about Yeshua doesn't seem like the blessing. I was lied to about Yeshua for years and I wouldn't consider it the blessing. That's like saying, the false Christ is where the blessing lies and that is not true. The true Christ, dispelling the lies we've been told, is where the blessing lies.

The dilema of the reason isnt predicated to the recipient, as theyre mutually exclusive. But if the premise in the Hebrew points to "a lie about", its still within logical boundaries relevant to "lie because". The entire theological context of "Jesus's'" ministry was always met with misrepresentation in both Greek and Hebrew texts. Its just in this case where a prophetic relevance takes place that highlights His MInistry as the subject. Which again is the purpose of the channel, to clarify and divert the Greek Jesus to the Hebrew Yeshua. The pro Torah vs the antinomial revelation of Him.

Nehemia ignored these other hybrid names and ran with Yehovah. That is DISHONEST! Mr. Gordon you are a dishonest scholar.

Give me your best shot to "prove" Yeshua is God and I'll prove you wrong based on scripture alone.
