For that beard 'hack', was anyone else screaming about how HARD that guy was pushing the applicator tips? Like jeebus christmastoast!! It was like he was trying to push his beard hair back in by force alone! I've enjoyed the 'blush as CC' trick for a bit. I've gotten some seriously weak blushes and found that they made a nice under eye brightener where a subtle wash of color works better than a huge blob. I hope more folks test that out and have a great look resulting from it!

there was confusion in my brain from the beard video but since I don't have a beard I will listen to Robert. Lol! What I've learnt from all the KZfaqrs my age over 40....leave your under eyes alone. Lol! See Victoria Beckham...she is over 40 like me...look how much product she put on her under eyes..next to nothing. Lol! 🤣😅 Y'all young girls could keep the heavy under-eye product. Lol! And WHY EVEN USE RED AND GREEN LIKE THAT. They just cancel each other out and make brown. He’s just creating a random shade skin shade when he could be starting out with a foundation or concealer that actually match his skin tone. Such a WASTE of time. That is not how color correcting works.

Finally someone who doesn't love the Dior blush! I don't get the obsession at all. Saw people saying it's great because it deposits very little color and apparently that's what high end brands do, and I kept thinking "But that's... Not what I want from makeup???" lmao 😫 Great video as always

@@allyrad4467 i mean yea i wouldnt use it because its just super expensive for something that looks sheer (and sometimes lowkey patchy) and, like, really chalky when i see people use or swatch it online; and because i know how to not overuse more pigmented blushes for the looks i go for (and how to sheer them out a little if i do accidentally overdo it a bit) But I'm just saying..some probably like that its sheer (and that its dior, ofc) and may prefer to build up rather than learning how much of more pigmented products to use

I tried setting spray as a primer multiple times and it never made a difference. BUT then I started using niacinamide twice a day which really helped my oiliness, so I tried the setting spray again and noticed it really did make a difference! My dad was in the ER and hospital a couple of weeks ago (he's okay now), so I wound up being there all night and I looked in the mirror at one point and was like "Well, thanks to the Welsh twins, I don't look super oily at least" 😂

@Victoria Nokes Not all BB's or CC's are the same anymore, unfortunately. They used to all be super sheer, inspired by the market that created them! (APAC, Korea) But a lot of western brands wanted to make "their version" and some are basically full coverage foundation (Looking at you, IT cosmetics 😒) MAC Face & Body is great for super thin and lightweight (It's water based) but what your currently doing is great too!

Your skin is beautiful you don’t need it but if you wanted to a skin tint looks beautiful and it easy. Fenty make a beautiful skin tint in so many shades to suit everyone unlike alot of Korean makeup. ❤

As a very oily person using a matte setting spray under primer or foundation does really work and really helps your makeup last. You can still spray your face at the end too. But always spray after your skin prep is complete and has sat for a minute or two.

8:49 Dior blush is as big as it is because Kylie Jenner's makeup artist Ariel was rumoured to have said that that's a blush that he uses on her. Kylie & Ariel said it wasn't true and that she uses one from her brand (which is a similar shade, but is pigmented).

putting a setting spray on before your primer and then after your makeup is suchhh a game changer! i have oily skin so many setting sprays don't work well with my but the cover fx high performance setting spray one is THE' best, hands down. it's like 32$ i think but depending on how much you do your makeup it can last over a year. i've had my current one for at least half a year. but that's bc i don't do a full face of makeup often anymore. either wayyyy yes this trick is so so important for long lasting makeup that stays in place !!

As an amateur makeup artist for my friends, it really depends on the texture of your skin for the foundation application tools, and what kind of foundation you should use. I thought this was common knowledge, but there are many young women getting into mqkeup that do not even know the basics. I really think you have the best makeup channel.

Ok but i love the dior blush to wear by itself on days i feel lazy. The pigment is sheer and blends in very well to the face when theres no other product. I feel like the Dior is really just a preference thing. As a product it isnt bad, overpriced sure, but really just depends on what you want in a blush.

I 100% understand what Robert is saying RE oils and setting spray, but I really find that using setting spray over make up helps. I wonder if it's like a humidity thing? I also have a tendency to tear up, and I think the setting spray helps prevent smudging due to that. But I'm worried I'm just fooling myself since I already bought setting spray 😅

It may homogenise the foundation with the spray, and set it as one layer. That could mean that it stays on longer, since the hold qualities are tenchincally on both sides of the layer
