@@zangbang9886 With the “D. Gray” mentioned, it might just go in one ear and out the other. Plus, many people click through exposition dumps. You could be right. I truly hope you are. I think half is too high, but I would love to be wrong. Paracelsus was a neat Easter egg too. I love that when you meet him for the first time he says the difference between medicine and poison is dosage. Love it. What a really cool story, very compelling. I didn’t want it to end. They stuck the landing quite well.

@@demonicxfire They are a very talented group to be sure, and I am guaranteed to grab whatever they do next. I would caution against getting hopes up for what they teased at the end. Many studios tease things that never come to fruition, for myriad reasons. But man, it would be cool. Some of the other universes out there (that are in the public domain) would be incredible.

I have a feeling that the woman from the beginning of the video knows that we brought her a doll and not her child, she just tries to calm herself down and to deny reality. She must already know she is dying from the desease, all alone. She's grateful that we don't force her to hear what she already knows regarding her child, I'd say, she's grateful for our attempt to grant her a peaceful death. I play this game on xbox gamepass on pc and then I never get the carlo change cutscene I do everything in the EXACT order but sophia never asks me to check out the painting I have to interact with it then she says look at it then I do and come back to her and then nothing happens

You had to keep the story consistent. You told the guy that his puppet wife left a note saying she loved him, when she didn’t. That one, was tricky. A lot more tricky than any of the riddles in this game lol

Craziest part is, if you save the one guy from the abbey and return, he tells you about the puppet's body and when you return, she did in fact write that she loves him. You didn't even lie!

You can also gain humanity by listening recorders. Rise of P ending is simply as much humanity as possible. You don’t have to always lie.

You get an emote after killing a survivor that attacks you at the puppet factory. It skips the fight with The Atoned and you go straight up.

Can you miss one lie and still get the golden lie and true ending? I accidentally told one truth. Turns out pausing to the playstation menu doesn't pause the game. If this screws that up I'm pissed. Dang timer on choices. Since the game auto-saves after choices I can't reload my save to try again. With no copy save file option I can't go back to an earlier save. Why did there need to be a timer?!

It's not just about having the records in your inventory. You have to play them in the hotel and let the entire song play out.

I did an almost total lie run.. beat Simon… got and listened to all but one record in one sitting… I got a notice that said “your heart is pounding” after listening to the records (like 47 minutes in Gepetto office)… I go to investigate the golden lie on the frame and nothing….I defeat the nameless puppet and then listened to the records in one sitting again and nothing!

Update: I got it y’all 🙌🏽🙌🏽 i think it was the Venigni dialogue that messed me up. MAKE SURE YOU TALK TO VENIGNI early in the game so that he gives you the ERGO WAVELENGTH DECODER otherwise it LOCKS YOU OUT and you gotta do a whole new playthrough

lie is sweet but truth is bitter. I am think, why this game have to lie just to gain humanity? But when the final scene of conversation between pinocchio and gepetto. I realize something. This game not just focus to pinocchio life but also gepetto. I think gepetto is human who is want living in lie. When I look to gepetto, life in lie can ease you in short term but make you suffer in long term. In final scene between gepetto and pinocchio if you gain enough humanity you can chose to accept or refuse gepetto request for pinocchio heart to use it to revive his death son carlo. So when i see the meaning of humanity in this game is not about lie but also freewill and choice . In best ending we can also see how pinocchio in his own choice using all his ergo to make sophia doll come to life. ps: I think the director of this game is big fan of astro boy anime. when the robot scientist dr. tenma lost his only son tobio in accident. He make a robot named atom with same appereance and memory of his son.

@@daniilbelov8652 I’ve tested so many things. The amount of BS online about how it all works is crazy. If you’re after the weapon in the picture, I got it before even going against Simon. I went to pray back at the altar, lied through some of the game and then chilled and listened to all records I’ve got. Went upstairs and I got the weapon. You can defeat Simon and lie to him. But, I didn’t even do the puppet or refuse to offer my heart. I kept reloading saves to test different things out. You can get all 3 endings in 1 play through, to get all records you need 2. So, you can technically plat the game in less than 2 whole playthroughs.

Made the same mistake because I couldn’t talk to her friend (maybe because of a bug?) so I was like ok… then lets kill him. I did that and told Belle her friend ran away and when I looked at the portrait after that the nose seem to continue growing so I think it wasn’t that bad after all? But I am still not far enough to say that for sure… I just hope I still get the Golden Lie for the trophy…

The reason is that while we know the gentleman loved his puppet wife, we do not know if the wife genuinely felt the same. It is a lie because we are telling Polendina what he wants to hear instead of the actual truth.

In the story at its vaugly based on, his nose grows whenever he tells something that’s not true. Even a white lie. Like the women with the baby. Telling her it’s cute is a lie because it’s not real, but it’s good because it means you have empathy at living creatures have. This game is very confusing though, especially the last part where you can choose “I gave her peace/liberated” as both killing/not killing ultimately achieves the same end goal of her living etc. obviously not killing her outright 😂 but say if you spare her. Both are the same answer yet ones a lie which is wrong

It's based on lies because this is based on the story of Pinnochio, where if the puppet lied his nose would grow and he needed to understand and learn to be good and truthful in order to become a real boy. The game turns the story's theme on it's head. Here it is imprinted on every puppet that they are incapable of lying, and it is told to you that lying is a tool used by humans to survive out in the world. Basically saying that the path of truth is the path of puppets and lying is one of the most human things you can do.

I got it without playing all the records. Just beat the game but don’t start NG+ and go to the paintings and you should get it.
