I keep saying this on all these LoP videos but I really can't believe how damn good this game is. I was excited for LoP but didn't expect it to be as good as a From game. I heard it had good reviews I figured I would for sure enjoy it, but it wouldn't be on the same level. The longer I played, the more and more I was hooked and the most I kept thinking this game is like, REALLY fucking good. I have played through 4 times already and I have never done back to back play throughs with any souls like.

Convinced me to buy, huge souls fan but alot of bosses felt unfair in elden ring, because of what you said the reaction vs memorization! Especially because of my low level play This looks like more my speed. Great video !

This video perfectly articulates what I love so much about lies of p’s combat and why Elden Ring’s boss fights left me much less satisfied. The combat is LoP is exactly what I’ve been dreaming Fromsoft would make ever since playing Sekiro. Fantastic video!

About Malenia: you can also avoid the first "wave" of waterfowl dance by strafing her and dodging to the side as she approaches. But I get your point about hard tells. Though I invited you to consider this: imagine how much better a boss Malenia would be if Elden Ring had Lies of P's mechanics for blocking/parrying? Imagine if you could block/parry those three quick slashes she does to put her off balance, or if you block/parry the dive perfectly the ensuing knockback would put you safely away from the flower bloom follow up. The interactivity From already developed with Sekiro needed to have made its way into Elden Ring for sure, I was so disappointed that it didn't and instead some random Korean devs applied From's ideas more competently within the genre they invented.

Great video, but your audio is pretty quiet. For your next video you should try and increase the volume of your voice if you can. I went to college to learn about audio so if you want some pointers I'd be more than happy to talk to you for free about getting your audio louder

For me, lop is better than everything fromsoft has made. That's not too imply that fromsoft doesn't make incredible games, rather it implies that every king eventually falls. Elden ring was just too empty for me, as my 190 hours in that game was spent more wandering and doing nothing while occasionally uncovering bits of story that made zero sense. Every quest in that game, if you can even call them that, are so disjointed they become pointless. Lies of p does everything that from can do, while also doing the things from can't do. There's an actual story that makes sense that you don't have to tell yourself or fill in with excessively long KZfaq videos, half of which are incorrect anyway

Lies of P is better than most Fromsoft games tbh
