Lies of P - Which Class Should You Start With?

Before you start running around the city of Krat and telling fibs in Lies of P, you’ll need to decide which of the three starting fighting styles you’d like to adopt, which will have a pretty big impact on the early part of your adventure specifically. Here are our recommendations for which class you should play first in Neowiz’s fairytale soulslike.

You can buy all of the starter weapons at the first merchant in the game if anyone is struggling with the move sets

Looking at comments, looks like the choice ultimately doesn't matter. The demo really got me to try these games again, and an online community told me Elden Ring would be the best of the games to start with to figure out what playstyle I'd prefer. Honestly, didn't get far enough to decide, but I'm hoping you can switch fairly easily if you want instead of rewriting or doing 3 separate saves.

No matter difficulty its still hard But choose the first class its easier and fast and u can farm pretty Early to lvl up im lvl 20+

It seems like the difference between the dex and strength builds is do you wanna play Bloodborne, or do you wanna play Dark Souls?

The only problem in the game forces you to play like Sekiro, so as of now a Dex build is pretty useless.

Me who put Greatsword blade on Rapier handle getting all the benefits of the Greatsword and the Rapier and none of their downsides. 😂

There's no classes. Just asking if you want to use Great sword, rapier or whatever. You could buy all three 5 minutes into the game lol

It's more than that some have higher strenth and health some have more advance if you hit triangle on ps5 you see each stat

For those who didn't play the demo: The deflection works like Sekiro's, it doesn't disbalance the enemy for a riposte like in BB. Standard block: recoverable hp loss (easy but costly) Perfect guard: no hp loss and build enemy's nonvisible stagger meter. eg. When the Watchman boss does a chain attack, chain deflections are needed. This is the core part of the game and everything else is built around it. The nerfed roll during lock on is to encourage deflection/

This comment is massively important for those who haven't tried Sekiro/Bloodborne. The gameplay is great btw, unique and atmospheric.

@incognito4354 I'd say it's a major covenant of any battle. Dodging seems to be easier, but then you don't build their stagger bar by deflecting. You can also break opponents weapons through enough deflects

But this looks better in most regards, well, in it's specific style, setting and genre. It's a mix of Sekiro and Bloodborne with a bit of Dark Souls - not ER

I've been HYPED for this Bloodborne and Dark souls souls like game a long time since before gamescom 2023 where this game was one of BIGGEST sponoried games. Lies of P world city of Krat looks beautiful, main character with metal hand looks interesting it's like a full metal alchemist and villain designes looks awesome, it's so nice this is coming tomorrow yay. 🏰🗡🦾🔥
