Amazing, this looks so beautiful. I might take much more time to do this, but I will definitely be trying this one. I loved it when you said - have a plan. This is where I mess up usually. I'd have a painting going somewhat okay but then one stem or a couple leaves would completely mess it up, only because I didn't plan it well. Thank you so much! 💟 I'll remember this!

Hello again! Having a “plan” is definitely a good idea, but even I still mess up with that sometimes! (You’d think I’d know better by now…. 😅 lol!) In fact, your comment about a painting going well until a “leaf or stem mess up” fits perfectly with a video I just put out where I did that exact thing! This is a fun tutorial. Your painting with voiceover is ever instructional and encouraging. Wonder: When you use 100% cotton watercolor paper that is in a pad and not in a block, do you stretch the paper? Thank you.

Thanks so much Stephanie, I’m glad you enjoyed this. 🥰 As far as the paper goes, I should probably stretch it, but I don’t. 🤷‍♀️ I know some people find it helpful, but usually if I tape it down good it helps quite a bit with warping and such. It’s probably recommended, I just don’t take the time to do it! 😁😉 Take care!

@@lieslsartisticstudio you’re more than welcome, I was disappointed also that she didn’t mention your channel. In her reply to me she did mention you so fingers crossed next year you will be there. You deserve it so much I wish I had found you when I first picked up a paint brush. Actually Jenna’s channel was the first one I saw but I quickly realised that loose watercolour wasn’t for me. Hi! You can actually purchase 7x10 inch frames, I’ve seen some on Amazon. 😊 (Or you could use a custom mat and fit it into a larger frame…) But I’d probably just get a 7x10 frame. Thanks for watching!
