Life after Cancer - Hope after rectal cancer - Gill.
Gill shares her story of being diagnosed in 2020 with stage 3 Rectal Cancer, aged 40, with three young children. Her diagnosis came out of the blue, and lead to months of treatment - major surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy.
"During treatment, the decisions were made for me, I had to follow what the experts were saying and be guided by them. The other side of treatment was the hardest part.. I was 'better' according to my consultant, but felt lost and changed in ways that I struggled to comprehend."
Gill shares her story of hope after cancer and what has worked for her in moving forward in her life after cancer.
