She lives in my hometown and I stood behind her in line waiting to buy my lottery ticket not long ago. When she turned around we had eye contact and she smiled and winked at me :-) She saw me recognize her...I'll take it as a positive sign :-) good luck and prosperity to all!

I did as well. Unfortunately, people took advantage of her kindness ( including her so called personal trainer/fiancé). She filed bankruptcy 🥺.

she answered the question when she first won in 07, it was a quick pick, she belived and God who owns and operates the Universe honored her belief and faiith. Simple. During hurricaine Katrina a woman of great faith and her niece prayed for a miracle and won 1,000,000 and were able to start all over. Its what your highest and true self believes. If you say negative things, believe them and expect them- thats what you will have. Its basic biblical principles of spiritual and universal laws.

It's nuts how the winner has to pay half in tax.....Here in Australia you pay 30cents of Tax when you buy the ticket.....And so all Taxes are paid......get with it USA!!!!

+dojufitz It varies by state. Some states have zero tax while others have up to a 11% tax. This is on the state level. But the federal government has its own tax. It varies by how much you won but usually it's about 39%. But if you get a good financial advisor and instead ask for the 30 year payments the federal portion could potentially go a lot lower, possibly to the 30's or lower.

+Sulfen Wrong. The Federal government takes 25% upfront and the following April they look at what you did with your winnings and then assign what more you need to pay. For instance donating a lot to charity may get some of the 25% upfront tax back while buying a fleet of cars might increase the amount owed over the standard 39.5%

In Canada, all lotteries such Lotto Max, 649 etc. is totally tax free. So say if you win $60, 000,000.00 you get the whole amount.

I used to be generous with my family, till the day some of them stolen some money from me. Never again i will help them proundly apart of my mum. I have few people like friends and family ,they are jealous of me, i promesed myself i will not help them wisely and proudly ,will give them few quid and theres no way i will tell them, i won a huge amount of money . Keep envy people way . No way after all the betrayal i still going thought . The old time gone , i will keep all the money for myself, i praying i will win an day proudly. I've heard Ms Stafford's inspiring story before and it's good to come across her again in a different context. I wish KZfaq hadn't removed the dates from published videos so that I could know whether this is an update to what I already knew about her journey.
