You rock and I’m so proud of you! If you aren’t already, you may get a lot out of aa. Especially comradory and a sense of community with other strong likeminded ppl. I can see in my minds eye you bonding with some other super chill, kind, good-looking, granola mixing, challord greens juicing young ppl like you and before u know it, you’ll be finding, ya know, a lil validation 😙 and up your self confidence even more and pls don’t think me too forward, I just get these intuitive msgs and just feel compelled to reach out to certain ppl and so I wanted to share this vision with you. If it doesn’t resonate no worries but your video really made a impression on me. I’ve only watched this one vid of yours so far and I already adore you and find you so unique, caring, friendly, and of course handsome as heck as well as adorable. Stay strong ok and never forget how far you’ve come!!! I’m so impressed by you and you have this chill soothing way about you... I’d like to say, you have nothing to be anxious about when you are out in public on a bus or wherever ... but I know to just say that is uninformed bc it’s reall nvr that easy unfortunately.. ;) Anxiety is real but you really are such an inspiration! Thx for sharing your story! Not sure if you might have an interest in maybe opening a second channel and make some ASMR content. You have the right spirit, personality, voice, rhythmic speech, and kind/caring essence. May not be your thing but I think you’d be very successful at creating asmr content, as well as what you are already doing which I love. Plus the asmr community is amazing for mental health and anxiety reduction. it’s a very loving, open, encouraging, upbeat community and I really recommend even just checking out some videos in your free time. Much of the content really helps me with fallling asleep pretty quickly almost every night ! Also look up meditations for ‘sleep’ or really anything positive for ones lifestyle. It will put you into a natural Xanax like relaxation state and you can take advantage of all the various and endless mediation topics on KZfaq plus your mind is like a sponge to any info you feed it right before you fall asleep so you can kind of be proactive like that by rewiring your brain with positive affirmations and turn thoughts into things faster for your life. Pnl Namaste! Oh yeah, and don’t underestimate the power of yoga... plus there’s nothing more attractive than a healthy dedicated yogi. 😉👍❤️💫🍀🍍🥑🍒🍌🥥🥦🥗🧘🏻‍♂️🎆 and yes think of all the freedom not tied down to monthly dr visits blah blah blah... your power is great! You are hear for great things! I’m so So happy u popped up in my recommended feed. all my best!!!! Hugs!!!

I was on an SSRI (escitalopram) for about a year for anxiety, I was having panic attacks when I was out in public, in traffic, etc. I decided to go off of it, thinking I was in a good place mentally. I didn't have any of the physical symptoms aside from a few brief moments of feeling really light headed. For the most part i'm doing alright, but I have been feeling super depressed for a few months. Exercise really helps, so does eating good. I never bothered with any therapy or anything like that, didn't feel like it would help me. You sound like you're on the right path. I find when I start to feel a bit anxious, I just take a quick deep breath, and focus on my breathing. Anxiety really throws your breathing off, you start to breath faster and it can feel like your lungs are constricted. If you take a deep breath, calm down a bit, you'll realize you are totally fine, and have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Major props bro!! I can’t tell u how proud I am of u to decide to get off that crap. Please don’t misunderstand what I’m saying here.. I know that meds like Xanax are a must for most people. And I really do believe that it is a great drug. And when used properly...it can change lives. But like u said...”U have to be ready to stop”. Otherwise it’s gonna be a bad day. I thank the good lord above that I never used that drug because I know I have an addictive personality. And I knew introducing that drug into my system could and more than likely would end badly. Instead I chose therapy and family. The bottom line is something that we all know...there is no easy solution. And it will get hard. Very hard. But and I want people to know this....BUT IT WILL GET BETTER. It sounds silly but...you’ve got to love urself first. Good luck brother! Keep fighting the good one...

julianne Smith that's sooo dangerous quitting benzos cold turkey like that! Unlike opiates where it just FEELS like you're going to die, with benzos you actually, seriously, legitimately CAN DIE from the withdrawal! Whether you die or not, who knows, Everyone is different, but you could easily slip into seizures, cardiac arrest, coma, etc..... The list goes on and on!!! I don't advocate for ANYONE TO QUIT BENZODIAZIPINES COLD TURKEY AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU PEOPLE! PLEASE STOP! Jist because you two quit cold turkey like that and everything went well as far as "well" is concerned in a case such as this, but nevertheless there have been MAAANNNYYYYY flat out DIE from benzo withdrawal! So while I support your channel suicide journal and while I support the majore of what you discuss, I simply cannot support this and as a concerned subscriber I plead with you to make known the dangers of cold turkey quitting Benzodiazipines. Thanks in advance! MuchLove and Godspeed! :)

I had xanax prescribed to me last year for my panic attacks, i learned through meditating you dont really need pills for anxiety and i never meditated before, but practice makes perfect and took me about 9 months to control and get rid of my anxiety . But try to get your mind off what worries you the most & replace it with things that make you happy or make you feel better , do some push ups , run , hit the gym , it really helps allot .

Meditation can help a lot. But sometimes the chemical imbalance is too strong you do need a bit of medication depending on who you are. Whether you're on medication or not you should learn to meditate and practice it if you have anxiety. Great advice.

If you are having a panic attack try taking a deep breath through your nose and hold it for 15 seconds, then exhale, repeat but this time hold it for 20 seconds, repeat and hold it for 30 seconds. This always works for me and my panic attacks. Just wanted to put this out there. 😊

My personal opinion and only is: all problems are between ears. Take control off them and stay alive, live instead off existing. Sometimes we just need to hit ourselves on but to get back on real liferoad, stop cry for stupid thing or not changeble things etc. We have to take ourselves in arms, hug for a while and then put back on road without drugs. My personal experience is that suffering heals faster if you do it yourself without drugs. Drugs just put you on pausa. So yeah iff you have trouble with quitting drug(any) - stay strong, know that one day you will be back yourself. Next time make better choices - choice to not add chemistry staff in body but solve with your own mind control and power.

hey I feel exactly like you and didn't know how to explain it as clear as you. I have been on 2 MIL xanaxs bars for 15 years. And now over the last few years since I lost my job and insurance and tht means no xanax and lexapro as well numerous other drugs not all narcotics such as cholesterol meds.ect. I just can't cope without the drug. I think about it daily probably because I have severe panic disorder. plus like you said no coping skills and the amount of time on the drug and dose. Wht sld I do cause I'm a strong dude but this Shit got my whole life in turmoil.

ok here are some tips: If you are in a crowded place, always wear headphones with music that you love, that way you can ignore the people, and the anxiety might go away. Another thing, move to a small town! Big cities are terrible, I lived in a huge city in Europe, always crowded buses and trams.. Hated it, so I moved to a smaller town, and my anxiety is lesser, I just take the Clonazepam when the depression or panic attack really hits me hard..

Dual lands From experience, medications and the like can be a pleasant experience, but once you get deep into using them you don't know what normal and real feels like anymore. Dual lands dude! You obviously don't have a clue what you're in for. Because if you did, there's NO WAY IN HELL you would give someone that kind of advice, unless you were just heartless and had no soul! I don't think that is the case though! I just think that you aren't really hooked and dependent YET and so you still NAIEVELY think it's a good thing...which you will soon learn that you're balls deep into something you "THOUGHT" YOU WERE MISSING OUT ON! smh! 😑 Shmannel....Stick with what you're doing! Trust me...you are absolutely, 100%, without a shadow of a doubt, doing the right thing! God Bless you on your quest to stay strong, safe and sober! I would give ANYTHING to be able to go back and retrace my steps...even tho mine didn't come about from some dumb ass recreational use, rather I was in a major, MAJOR car accident and that's how I ended up hooked on narcotics. Opioids and benzos and I'd seriously, knowing what I know now and STILL being a slave to this fkin medication over TWELVE YEARS later!!!! I wouldn't have taken ANY medication to not be addicted now. The addiction in itself is more weight bearing, humiliating, painful, difficult, lonely, etc... It's way worse psychologically than the physical pain from just the car accident alone! 😢

Clonazepam addicted here since 13 years... well was also on Xanax, Valium at some point... My Clonazepam dose was as high as 10 mg day and 12 mg day of Xanax... I'm doing a very slow tapering of the Clonazepam since 2 years, I'm down to 2.5 mg day... I have very severe anxiety disorders and no medication really help me and trust me I tried more than 50 different drugs. Anyway, I'm now on a SSRI, Paroxetine, it's work for the panic attack but do nothing for the agoraphobia, social phobia or general anxiety. I did a lot of therapies like you did, the big problem with the benzodiazepines drugs is that the psychological addiction and not being able to develop new skills to cope with the anxiety... What was your highest daily dose for the Xanax?

I have the same problem. The psychological dependence. I have been in therapy and on the Xanax for 6 years. I don't want to go back to how I was before Xanax, and now I am terrified of coming off, yet I'm also terrified of being dependent on a drug...the "what if's". What if society collapses and the drug stores are robbed or locked down - oe some other bizarre situation to where I'd be screwed.

what was your dose bro? and tbh im on 2mg for 3 years daily and im terrified of coming off too even its a small dose i guess but one day i was like fuck it imma go cold turkey maan that was horrible i ended up in the er having bad seizures and i was anxious and scared its funny how doctors really dont talk about this before described a benzo to people and give it away like candy and just ruins people life’s im still on xanax but im differently going to taper it off

@@Sean-xz9kp I’m sorry it’s taken so long, I just now noticed your reply. I am prescribed 6mg/day but I stay around 2.5mg/day. I should start shaving some crumbs off and get done to hardly nothing, but I hated life before Xanax. At least Xanax helps me live a normal life. I’ve come to think of it for me as important as insulin is for a diabetic. I hope you’re doing okay Sean. Just cross-tapering me from Xanax to Klonopin was hell, but when I was taken back to Xanax, because Klonopin gave me terrifying intrusive though, I withdrew HARD. It was like battery acid in my veins, as you know. I’m amazed you were able to go long enough to have seizures without giving in, that is strong but VERY dangerous. Those grand maul seizures will kill you. People don’t realize that benzodiazepines are harder to get off of then heroin.

Some people need the odd benzo for an emergency. If your doc was smart he would have sent you home with 8 pills to last you a month so it would have been hard for you to abuse. You should still have a backup med, because it sounds like you still suffer from anxiety episodes and panic attacks

Question, if we didn’t live in cities constantly surrounded by STRANGERS, would we be suffering from all these disorders? I have severe anxiety, and I wonder this because I know we did not evolve to live like this, we evolved to live in small tight knit communities built on trust and interdependency. With the industrial revolution two things occurred, we got huge quantities of food and we began living in cities surrounded by strangers. We have treated obesity with exercise (or are trying to) but what is the treatment for living in these unnatural circumstances surrounded by strangers? Drugs? Maybe community is the answer for all of us?

Having been addicted to temazepam and suffering the withdrawals from that, I find it near impossible now, there doesn't seem to be anything I can take that works for anxiety that isn't addictive, and however hard I could try to mask the symptoms people notice it the sweating and shaking are a dead giveaway, then u wonder if there is any medication out there that may help, then u realise that its all addictive poison crap, then u give up and try to manage the anxiety, then someone notices and viscious circle ad infinitum

If for any reason your anxiety is so bad that you do have to take a benzo, don't make it an everyday thing only take home when you're have an extremely bad day or panic attack.

Zeke ZekeKan alot of how these meds are designed to work properly you can't just take one when you need to after a bad day. They only work properly and to their full effect when you take them everyday over atleast a 2 week time span. I am not saying all these meds are like that, but alot of them are. I almost thing they are designed to make people dependent on em.

XoMo's Manifesto's Ibogaine is not a drug. It is a plant that contains Ibogaine which allows the brain and body the heal itself by triggering its own healing mechanisms. It works wonders for those who are currently addicted or dependent on substances or recovering from addiction. It only needs to be taken once (although sometimes a smaller second dosing is required). It all produces noribogaine which helps to completely restore the chemical imbalances in the brain that cause depression and anxiety.

Don’t know if you’ll see this but it’s my experience I used to smoke weed and it was just normal ands mellowed me out and then eventually I started to get anxiety from it like think it would be laced or something so I quit thinking my anxiety would go away and it didn’t I had panic attacks that made me feel like I couldn’t breathe and felt like I was dying i had to get my mom to sleep with me at 17 to be able to sleep and be comfortable not feeling like I was gonna die and we went to the doctor and they perscribed me Xanax and like every once and a while I would still smoke weed but not with it and would still get anxiety so I gave up on getting high and I always did research on it once I got it and knew what not to do with it but anyways the first couple of weeks I wouldn’t take it unless I felt like I was about to go into a panic attack and it smooth sailed like that for a month and then after I was starting to be more depending on it you could say like if I didn’t take it at the same time the next night I would start to get shaky so I basically had a schedule now and would take it every night before bed and one day I stayed up all night and had taken one to get some sleep then it made me high and the high wasn’t like how it was with weed so it was way better than it and I realized you could get high off then which I did not instantly go to abusing them I kept taking them normal then went on a beach trip with grandparents and started abusing them like taking 2 a day to get me high and non be bored and mellowed out and yes I know I take full responsibility for abusing it I understand it’s my fault why what happens is cause of me and then I ran out of my medican so my mom told me to talk to my grandma cause she takes the same ones so my mom called her and got her to give me one so I took it and went to sleep and go up the next day and we were supposed to go mini golfing which I have depression issues so I wanted to stay home so they left and I had none of my medican so I went into her room and found hers and only grabbed like 4 to last me until we left tommorw so I took the 2 and then when I felt it fading later I took another to go to sleep to get up for tommorw to go home and at this point just 1 wouldn’t get me high so we’re in the van otw home and I take the extra one I had and then we get to a rest stop they go in and I get more out of her bottel like 2 and take those but let’s skip ahead that’s already a lot basically i got my medican again and I was basically deep with it now like I would have to take 4-5 to get high daily and then when I’d run out i would feel like complete shit and then my mom would give me some of hers and (extra note I was 17 and just got kicked out not to long ago for being a smart mouth and lived with my gf now so I was kinda upset and all that but no excuse for taking this much anyways) and so I basically took up to 5 Xanax a day for a week till A few left and kinda looked at myself like yea I want to quit this cause I’m not this type of person. That doesn’t know how to take medicine probably cause I do so I ween down on the last 3 pills and then cold turkey it and the first 3 days were terrible I was going to Walmart and buying like all the stress helping pills and taking then for them to do nothing I was taking melatonin for it to do nothing basically trying to take something to calm me down and I was puking and stuff like that but after about 2 days it. Was alright I was fine I just couldn’t sleep to well until one night I fell asleep and woke up cause paramedics where helping me get out of bed to get into ambulance to go to the hospital cause I had a seizure but so basically after I’m disengaged I’m fine after that like went on normal with that but basically my point is yes Xanax can be a good drug if used correctly like I did in the begging but it can be bad also if you abuse it you could probably take enough of these and kill someone and wake up the next day and not remember it that’s how bad it can be.

Hey dude your vegan? I'f so that's awesome dude. Plant based diet definitely helps anxiety and peace of mind. makes recovering from things like withdrawal a lot better. It heals your body and mind and combining with exercise makes it even better. Hope your doing good man I know exactly what your going through things will get better with time. Take it one step at a time. Since you feel like your in a state of progress that is actually great because the longer you keep making progress the easier it is to get out of the negative thinking spiral.
