@New the only person with integrity for killing is the CA Prison Corparation way of bringing back the death sentence by placing molesters of children into cells with lifers who have daughters.... death before trial is worse than innocent after proven guilty.... or judged by a group of my peers...I know nothing of the law, can I just have three experts in the reverence of the law decide my fate. My peers are cursed by genetic codes w/ little to no support systems with building blocks stable due to the original sin. "Give me Liberty or Give me death" liberty isn't personal freedom. Either. Liberty is the state of a culture to obtain order through justice... based off natural law

This is a very enlightening interview and I’m so happy that PBD had the opportunity to have this discussion with this gentleman. If only more media individuals would take interest in such perspectivist endeavors to help increase the understanding of different lifestyles and cultures and their ‘why.’ On a lighter note: if I had been playing a drinking game with this video, and taking even a half shot every time this person used the word ‘basically,’ I wouldn’t have been able to finish the video…

I'm so glad I listened to this. I find the wisdom in the closing words of Aimen particularly important. In Sweden we have a word, "lagom", which translates more or less to "moderate", although the etymology of the word is different (the old Swedish word 'laghum' means 'according to law' and the word 'lagom' is used as a synonym for 'fitting'/'appropriate'.) The common colloquial phrase "lagom är bäst" (Directly translated; 'moderation is best') is said to be very typical of Swedish people - although it's a myth that "lagom" can only be found in Sweden. A fantastic interview - thank you!

@@payamism you're right, he was appointed by Shah Pahlavi due to public pressure after the Majles passed his highly popular oil nationalization act in 1951. He was a populist and a nationalist; that also made him enemies with elites, Soviets and Americans who all wanted Iran's oil. WW2 had just come to an end and there was a fairly significant power vacuum in the middle east, Iran was on the verge of becoming a superpower or at the least a major world player and had lots of potential but unfortunately it didn't turn out that way. Not saying he was a hero or anything either, all I'm saying is the CIA was wrong to stage a coup in Iran. Could've and should've been handled differently, but hindsight is as they say 20/20.

Mr. Mosadegh was one of the members of these families, I think his mom's uncle was Naserdin Shah, something like that. So, he was a member of the elite. In contrast, the Pahlavi family, which was not a dynasty (The Pahlavi family was relatively small, Reza Shah didn't come from a large tribe as the Ghajars came) was not popular with the elites. Reza Shah went through a lot of hell and diplomatic gymnastics to brings the elites under his rule. There were even far older families and feudal than the Ghajars that Reza Shah and his son had to bring under their rule. Regarding Iran becoming a superpower, no data suggest such a claim. Iran was a very poor country, almost 98% of people were illiterate. Even at the time of the 1979 revolution, almost 50% of people in Iran were illiterate. The Shah's White Revolution, which was framed as a Social Justice revolution was looking to address such fundamental shortcomings in Iran. Mr. Mosadegh, just like the Shah himself and many Iranians were not aware of America's domestic political issues. They didn't understand that the political competition between democrats and republicans in America can claim political stability in other countries. We have seen this very vividly in the past 20 years in regard to the Middle East policy. Going in and out of that region to make political statements or pandering to a political sponsor. Mr. Mosadegh made a wrong alliance with the Commies in Iran, which was a red line for the Dulles brothers in the U.S. He miscalculated his political and social power and didn't really understand that in the 1950s everything is about the U.S.A vs the U.S.S.R. He paid the price for it.

Yeah this dude offended the Meccans by insulting their religion and claiming his form of god “Allah” is the one and only true god……I think that speaks enough.

@@kalilu3469 can I ask you for evidence? Where is this evidence that Meccans were burying children of female gender alive? Also, isn’t it the same as abortion in present day, except that nowadays females abort it in their wombs? Can you also tell me who is taking a woman’s wealth unjustly? Khadijah the first wife of Muhammad was a very wealthy woman and had two husbands before him. How can you say women were treated unfairly in the past? Also, if women should be treated more fairly, shouldn’t they receive just as much as men so that they can control their wealth? Also, equal inheritance is more suitable for present day. In addition, if god wants to make it more fair, why not give women TWO TIMES of men because they have to do housework and suffer childbirth pains? 🤣

@@kalilu3469 also, have you seen Meccans personally burying children alive? 🤣 could be a myth that early Muslims created to justify their religion. Also, early Meccans had female goddesses and fertility cults. Mostly women based. How can you say they don’t value women?

@@bunnystrasse just read more books about the subject you'll get answers. It would be more beneficial to you than spreading non sense on youtube. Do you really think wise, well informed people gonna waste their time debating with an ignorant? Think about it

Very interesting interview. It amazes me that people can be so programmed by fanatical, fairy tale religions. Your guest at least had maintained the gift of logical thought and a conscience. You always seem to have guest who are open with their history. You ask the right questions. Job well done.
