The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force train together before they go on to respective service academies for further pre-commissioning training. The NDA is located at Khadakwasla near Pune, Maharashtra. It is the first tri-service academy in the world.
NDA alumni have led and fought in every major conflict in which the Indian Armed Forces has been called to action since the academy was established. The alumni include 3 Param Vir Chakra recipients and 12 Ashoka Chakra recipients. National Defence Academy has produced 27 service Chiefs Of Staff till date. Current Chiefs Of Staff of the Army, the Navy and the Air Force are all NDA alumni.

@@ADITYASharma-cw1ei I'd say the Hedwig theme really gives the vibe of mystery, melancholy even, along with the atmosphere that you are entering a several century old cathedral or similar european architecture of very high academic studies and academics only. NDA is a not very old establishment for training men to serve their country, to basically train troops. So I disagree that the theme matches with the video

i am an ex nda and have personally been there. The first day of the academy was a completely different experience for me even though i come from a from a naval background. Nda is a completely different world where things happen at a very different pace and the various traditions that one follow in their respective squadrons resonates with the history and traditions of houses at hogwarts. Also you mentioned nda not being that old so let me enlighten you on this, the construction started in the year 1949 whereas the idea to build an academy for the tri services in india came after the end of world war 2 when a committee was established to make the blueprint of the plan. Being an ex nda i have witnessed and got to know about all sorts of history and tradition of the indian armed forces as well as the academy in itself, hence i strongly believe that the hedwig's theme accurately fits with nda.@@theonewhoasked9520
