A traveler since childhood, Victoria Vergara is the focal point of the third episode of Life From the French Coast. Follow along as she takes us on a small journey of her passion for longboarding as well as a sneak peek of her daily life from Hossegor to Capbreton. She describes longboarding as, “Dancing on the water. The feeling on the nose is something magical that you don’t get with another board; You are flying and you just feel the elements around you."

in which months you can surf without a wetsuit in france?

June to october. Unlike California which has a cold stream, french south-western coast, the temple of European surf, benefits from a warm stream. The sea can reach 27°C (80°F) in summer. With beach breaks mostly, some days are just heaven ^^

@@dje6429 Hum I'm from France and my brother is living near of Hossegor and ya, you're right French south-western coast benefits from a warm stream (Gulf-Stream) but the water temp in Hossegor doesn't exceed 25°C (77°F), average is around 22-23°C (71-74°F). We like to call this place the little french California, but personally I compare it more to the Australian Gold Coast.

@@SanookDap There is not a lot shapers in France, I'm not an expert I'm only know Paul Duvignau who's living in Hossegor.

so tired of vids that just show women out of the water and barely any actual surfing footage. seems unfair to some really good surfers.

It's an ad. . .it has to show the athlete and the product. . .it's not actually all about the surfing. She's not being objectified and it's honest, warm and engaging. Whilst you may be tired of stuff like this, I think it's nice to see brands doing things a bit differently. Nice work, Victoria.
