Today we are making soup with meatballs and homemade pasta. We will also prepare cheese dumplings (gombovtsi) according to a special recipe. But before cooking, since the weather is good outside, we will first go to the forest and bring from the forest even branches of hazel that now need to be collected to grow beans on it in the summer. The rest of the time I will knit socks from my recently made sheep wool yarn.

I'm 77 years old and your videos take me back to my childhood . My Mammy Belcher and my momma cooked on wood stoves . We had a cellar under our house that housed an abundance of canned food. We stored potatoes there and picked all the green tomatoes right before a killing frost and stored them in the cellar; they would ripen and we had ripe tomatoes until Christmas . I love your videos. Notice what you don’t see that makes this video so calming no TVs blaring in the background no cell phones ringing no computers open with people with their faces face-to-face with that in the monitor really I don’t see any electronics. She may have a landline phone but I’m not even sure about that. Just quiet very quiet only her moving about the room and stirring the pots and adding her spices no one talking. Thanks for a great video.

thank you for sharing with us the way to cook food in Carpathian village. Recently I started to watch more and more traditional living in different places, I find the homes very clean, well taken care of, no trace of depression, and life is flowing with time, season and chores, that's simple enough but highly satisfying life at least for me, I love reading and foraging, this place is a must go to if I have a chance.

Обработайте собаку, весь бедный чешется от блох, или купите ремешок специальный. Пес хоть и дворовый, но следить за его здоровьем надо. Пожалейте животину, смотреть больно.

@@user-vy2ut9fw2q... weil der Hund sich andauernd kratzt und das viele wälzen macht der instinktiv und damit die Flöhe wegzubekommen das machen nämlich Wölfe auch so und von den Wölfen stammen ja alle Hunde ab, es ist wirklich wirklich schade man müsste sich wirklich mehr um die Hofhunde kümmern, und was man auch oft in den Videos sieht dass die Kälbchen nicht bei ihren Müttern stehen dürfen außerdem sind sie so stramm angebunden dass sie sich nicht mehr hinlegen können, das ist das was mich an den an sich wunderschönen Videos stört
