Life in Austria: living in Graz

Hi everyone!
Episode one of life in Austria is out! This time I am sharing the living experiences in Graz. As a foreign student and then young professional, the life in Graz was so amazing, it made me feel like my second hometown.

This is really beautiful, a great video introduction to Graz in Austria. I know the city pretty well by now, as i've been visiting for about six years constant mostly in September, it's a great place. I am actually supposed to go tomorrow to Graz again. :) So, all the best on your travels. Regards. Jani Uskokovic.

I have to agree with you that Graz is the best quiet, city I have been. Although I did not stay there but I have constant trips there as my company headquarter is in the town. Even a week or two in Graz, it kinda became my gateway city from Asia to see things in total different perspective and view. Good period to detoxify my mind.

Thanks for this! I'm strongly considering moving to Graz myself - Ireland is fkn bleak to try to make a life in, even with a computer science background. Must practise my German in the meantime! One question actually, I've read that apartments are generally unfurnished and ones with furnishings are many times more expensive. Is this always the case?

Hi Master! Have you been to Linz? I just came back from there and it is such a cool city. I would love to go back and spend some more time exploring there. Also, have you been to Bad Ischl? It is beautiful! I want to move there. 👍

How did you get well integrated in Graz, may I ask you? I am currently living here, I cannot say that’s my kinda city for several reasons, but I like the works opportunities it offers.

Hi, i hope you enjoy the the life Graz. It's small but very cute city. My experience of integration is getting connected with study or work colleagues. Joining some cultural events which is designed for foreigners. It's not always easy to fit to the vibe of the city, but can always find the social circle fits you. All the best!

@@masterchan5552 was curious for Universities master's degrees but, I'm planning a trip to EU, austria is part of tour, so I would like to scout for jobs, specially in Graz, got any tips or advice? I got 5 years of working experience in sales, marketing, operations in ecommerces and digital agencies.

@@ChillingStreams the universities in Graz are quite good I would say, in terms of education quality. of course, it depends on what kind of master study you would like to go for, if you are more focusing on theories and academic structures, the university is definitely a good choice. But a good level of German is a must. If you want a more practical focused master study, FH is another option for you.
