This video is a small piece of what Life is like in the city of Cabarete in the Dominican Republic. Follow me as I walk to the main Street and to Playas Cabarete, then purchase food from a local street food vendor. Also meet locals and prepare a barbeque with a friends.

Like your insight and a real-life perspective on DR, no fluff. Coming to cabarete in a few months. Any suggestions on clean affordable spots to stay not far from the beach?

You can find lots of apartments available on Airbnb. If you want to be on the beach your going to pay more but if you want a more of an authentic experience, you can stay a short walk from the beach in one of the neighborhoods.
