Hi Marianne! I'm a Hungarian guy who wants to move to Norway because life in Hungary is too suffocating, but I can't choose between the cities. Is Trondheim a good place to live? I hear Oslo is quite expensive and Bergen is very rainy. What do you think of Trondheim as a local resident? Thanks for your answer in advance: Tommy

For someone ho want to come visit my country i recommend going on hikes around Norway 🇳🇴 with tents 🏕️ and see nature summertime is best because it’s very cold in the mountains 🏔️ in winter . As a person who lives in Norway i suggest that you don’t travel near Oslo and you go toward lofoten because Oslo unfortunately has become crowded with drunk people gangsters and drug abusers. I find this really unfortunate because it used to be a verry beautiful city. It is still beautiful but not as much as it used to. If you like skiing i suggest Hafjell ski resort. There is no hotel there but you can rent beautiful ski in ski out cabins and the newest apartments are quite spacious and don’t cost as much to rent. Another ski resort is trysil ski resort which is amazing but i personally think Hafjell is a bit better, at trysill there is a hotel you can book rooms to and it also has amazing slopes. If you are looking for hikes go to Dovrefjell or fishing hikes or beautiful sceenery go to either Dovrefjell or lofoten

Both are beautiful from what I hear. I visited Norway and carefully planned my route by car from south to north, crossing the fjords. I have not been to lofoten but hear it’s amazing. I will say that there’s no boring routes in Norway. It’s a huge country and the most visceral aspects is the power of falling water, everywhere. Clean, baby blue, glacier water. I think that New Zealand also has glaciers, so I wonder how the geography compares. I’ll make it there one day.
