How I wish my mother was alive to be able to watch these videos of her life back in the Ukraine so many years ago. She would have been so happy but at the same time so sad. She was so proud to be Ukrainian. I wish I had a photographic memory of all the stories of her life, family and the time during the war, what she had to endure and what she achieved after arriving in England. Thank you for these videos.........

Just like Maria, Yulia most likely grew up on a farm and does all Her chores like a very experienced farm hand. The very humble surroundings, the home she lives in and all the cooking pots and pans that are very old makes one appreciate Her skills at making do with what she can afford. Wishing Her the best life can offer under the circumstances of living in Ukraine while Her country is fighting for their very existence .

Да уж не вилла на побережье моря😜Жизнь в деревне никогда не была лёгкой: рыхление почвы,посев семян,уход за огородом:прополка,полив, обработка растений от сорняков,сбор урожая и т.д.Уход за домашней птицей и скотом(у кого есть хозяйство).Покос травы,скирдование,заготовка сена на зиму.Это только малая часть дел сельского жителя,крестьянина.Забот хватает в любое время года.
