If someone's father does not keep Sabbath by the book, he is still a father who puts food on his kids table, pays for the school, clothes, and medicine. So a father is much better than a murderer and still has a chance to repent till last day of life so the Rabbis have no right to condemn a non sabbath observer father or say that he is worse than a murderer.

Please if I may advise. This is only being said to wake-up all Jews who are non-Sabbath observers to keep in mind that this is true, but only applies if one does not do teshuvah before they die. But think about it. How many do you think get to do teshuvah before they die? Death usually comes suddenly, without warning! Jews must do as the Torah says, as this is the agreement of the Covenant between G-d and Israel.

POW! THIS LECTURE HAS IT ALL! BARUCH HASHEM! Upon review of this lecture, I wonder if the mechanical fly explains your experience with the mosquito coming to all of your lectures. I actually believed it was quite possible that a soul was sentenced to Shiur Torah. Now I'm not real sure if this was the case of the mosquito, but I still believe this concept is possible. Indeed this was the lecture I was looking for last week. That means this week there were less people who showed up to hear this, which is the ONE that is the MOST IMPORTANT SHIUR down to the very last second! Baruch HaShem!

Sorry but if a parent abuses a child they don’t deserve respect, I don’t think God would expect an innocent child to respect an abuser or predator, and I’d testify, that’s the right thing to do. That’s my opinion

@@mider9996 well then he is wrong. And this issue has come up before in Jewish thought, and ive heard other Rabbis say of course honoring your father and mother doesnt cover abusive parents. The entire torah is anti cruelty, i imagine its not expressed specificly in torah due to the limited circumstances perhaps or they never imagined a parent would abuse such a gift from G-d. But you are correct.

@Issak Rodriguez yeah thats not in the torah.....show me where it addresses parental abuse of children? I might be wrong, so please point out where it says so, we are not christian, our rabbis arent G-ds. Im a kohane. On issues of morality, i am right. I appreciate open discussion. But i will not be told i am wrong without evidence. A rabbis opinion doesnt trump my G-d given DNA. It doesnt say dont go left or right of what your rabbi says. Does it?
