In this chapter, the tranquil existence of the little woodlands community is broken up when Daniel commits a grave error at the weed farm and ends up fired, together with Sean. In the ensuing turmoil, the gang becomes aware of the little guy's superpowers, and Finn proposes to take advantage of them for the greater good... now Sean finds himself torn between loyalty to his older friend, who has chosen financial gain over peaceful poverty, and to Cassidy, who, so it seems, offers her body and soul only to pure souls who truly deserve it... meanwhile, Daniel himself wastes no time in succumbing to the temptation of finally "making himself useful".
