What about trying some volunteer work. Continue social media for income and set aside some time in the week for volunteering doing something that interests you. Just a suggestion. I like when you do videos like this because I find a lot of it is relatable.

I love listening to you!!! There is definitely an undiscovered genre of KZfaq and media. The thoughts and intricacies of mid life. Seriously- A lot of us tend to think that once we hit a certain age- life is done…. It’s not. Each day is a brand new day that we’ve never experienced. LIFE is full of learning about ourselves and that never ends. I love hearing your perspectives because my mother is around your age and we can talk for hours about how everyone thinks once you’re 45-50, you’re set in your ways and settled in. I was telling my mom - my whole life 0-25 years old is all I’ve ever known, and she has those years plus way more left in her life. SOOO much unknown. It’s exciting truly because each day we decide our future. Creating new habits leads us to new opportunities! Your life will unfold just the way it’s meant to, all you gotta do is keep listening to your intuition! Your body has all the answers- do what makes your body and mind feel warm and fuzzy ! I’ll always watch your vids! Just be you!!

Candy, I could actually sit and listen to you have conversations with us every day. I really enjoy listening to you. You're so genuine, sweet, and speak from your heart. Also, the advice you share is great! I understand what it's like to be a worrier. I'm the same way, but I've only had pets, so I can't imagine worrying about our own kids. I know it's not the same, but my husband and I were teachers and felt like second parents to our students...sure loved and cared for them. My husband did the same thing to our dog. Stitches were a must. My husband felt so bad. I also wondered why????

Right! Same here. I didn’t understand either because we’ve had dogs our entire relationship and he’s never done this. I always trim them and such. I know he’ll never do it again at least.

I will be turning 51 this year and struggling with finding a purpose! I was a single mom for 12 years and now my youngest girls are 21. It’s a major struggle!

Love all your videos ❤ we had a fur- baby emergency last November my husband tripped over our 10 year old min pin ( Sammy) & broke his right leg . Was a accident my husband felt like the worst Dog Dad in the world. But total bill , Emergency Vet & Orthopedic surgery was$5300.00 . But Sammy did amazing with his recovery .

I get what you mean about hourly paying jobs it has to seem worth the time. For example I’m sure retail jobs are fine but you factor in taxes and commuting expenses it becomes less worth it.

It’s not crazy at all that you were getting emotional talking about things…it IS crazy that I was sitting here tearing up with you😂 I’ve been a little stressy lately & I think when you’re stressed out you have a better ability of feeling empathy for other people. I don’t know if you’re a believer or not or if you pray or not but man praying helps me. Handing your problems over to Jesus & knowing he can take care of them way better than you ever could😮‍💨 I think things will definitely settle for you once things are moving along, the waiting game is the looooongest game. I’ve always wondered, & I by no means mean anything bad here at all, if you may possibly feel this sense of looking for your purpose so strongly because of all of your accomplishments in life. You & Ken have experienced an amazing thing throughout your time on KZfaq, something most of us could only dream of experiencing. And maybe deep down you you’re still chasing that…what? High? I don’t know what the word is. But this is coming from someone who isn’t nearly as driven as you are, so maybe I’m completely wrong. Thank you so much for sharing all of this with us, I think it helps other people more than you’ll ever know❤️

You are so right and we’ve had these exact conversations. I was a nursing school dropout turned stay at home mom who had no idea what the future had in store for me. I never started KZfaq with the plan to grow as big as we did. I was certainly hoping to make a few extra bucks to help pay for Karli’s competitive dance. And then the unbelievable happened. All of a sudden we were sharing our lives daily for almost 6 years. It sounds insane to even type that out. We are forever grateful but you are so right. I feel like I reached the highest peak in terms of “financial success” but that is not really what I’m searching for anymore. I want to be content and fulfilled in a different way now. Just struggling to figure out what that will look like. I heard something today that said you have to learn to be happy through difficult times because there will always be difficult times. Which is so true! Life will never be perfect. Thank you for your comment and thank you for SEEING ME!! ❤️

Yikes! Poor baby 😢 yeah my golden gets those sometimes. No way I would cut them. He and Echo go to the groomer every 6 weeks or I would have daycare groomer do it. With my husband, every day is like a wtf? 😂😂 I hear ya on the vet bill. We did end up getting insurance for ours this year but Teddy has allergies that were pre existing so of course they won’t cover those 😡 Glad you could sell all your books though.

@@OurFamilyNest it was very confusing trying to pick one. We went with ASPCA 100% reimbursement/unlimited coverage/$1000 deductible and it’s $101/mo for both. We’ll see if it pans out. I’ve read stories about costs skyrocketing after a couple years 🤷🏼‍♀️

My 19 year old just moved an hour away and it has been so hard.I am so proud of him and he in college.l text him I love family you every night and he text me back❤.I have stage four cancer and I he wanted to not leave me but as much i want his to be here i need him to be ok when i am gone.Please pray for my

I was watching a clip on the internet and it says the dogs are being vaccinated too much I think it’s the parvo and I’m not sure 💯 but they want to give them yearly when that’s way too much and it’s about greed and that’s why we see so many stories on the internet of our beloved pets are dying over food and shampoo tick shampoo and conditioner!! I’m glad he’s doing better!!!

Wow that’s nuts. Well they were due for their shots in November and we finally took them. Haha. We know so many that don’t vaccinate their pets at all. We stopped giving Lepto to our Yorkies. It makes ya wonder if any of this is really necessary. Dax has a cracked tooth and they want $1200 to remove. It’s always something.

My Bernedoodle had a huge tumor removed from her side and I wasn’t happy with other vets around the area and I found one in Toledo he only charged me 580 for surgery Dr Alan Moore and I really liked him he really cares about the dogs and not just paying for a big fancy building like with other vets! His number is 419-474-5403! He even asked me if I wanted to get it sent out for lab that would have cost 500 more and I declined and didn’t make me feel bad for doing so! He said if it happens again he will just remove it again and I really liked that about him! Any other vet would have quoted us over five thousand plus and probably would have done cancer treatments!! She’s doing great and I hope your little cutie Yorkie is doing better with his tooth being cracked (ouch)!!!💗
